Chapter Nine

[Abiagil's POV]
     "YOU'RE GOING TO CRASH!" Lilac screamed. Papyrus swerved the car again, almost scraping against two semi trucks. "Why don't you let me drive so you don't kill us all?" Lilac asked. "What about me? Can I drive next, please?" Jenna begged as if she hadn't gotten the answer no the last hundred times she asked.
     "But it's my turn next!" Lilac argued. Jenna turned around. "Abigail, who gets to drive next?" She asked. I paused my music, annoyed. "I don't care, how about you play rock, paper, scissors?" I suggested. They turned back around. "Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!"
     "Nooooooo!!!"
     "Ha, I win!" Lilac threw her hands up in victory. She let out a screech as Jenna punched her in the gut. I just put my head up against the window and closed my eyes. "So, you have to deal with this a lot?" Sans asked. "Every day..." I sighed.

We pulled into a rest stop, almost hitting parked cars. Papyrus got out and switched sides with Lilac. Jenna still sat in the middle seat, pouting. "Aw, don't be upset," Lilac teased "you'll get your turn soon, Jenna."
"Yea but I want it now..."
"Next rest stop we'll switch out seats." Lilac promised. I laughed. There's not another one, let's see how long it takes for Jenna to figure it out. Lilac flew the car back into the interstate, almost hitting a passing car. Well, this is gonna be fun.

     We eventually made it to the hotel, Comfort Inn & Suites, somehow not dying in a car accident. We got our room keys and went up to our rooms. Asgore, Toriel, Frisk, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys had a room beside Jenna, Lilac, and me. We were on a floor that surprisingly didn't have anyone checked in, mostly because it was claimed to be haunted.
I walked into our room, dragging my two suitcases behind me, one with my stuff and one with groceries, and claimed a bedroom. It had a queen sized bed, a closet, and a connected bathroom.
     I pulled the suitcase with groceries into the kitchen and started putting them up. Once I was done, I went to my room and collapsed on the bed. I pulled out my phone and checked the time. Wow, it's already past 9:36 PM. Then a text from Asgore popped up.

I put my phone down on the nightstand and walked into the bathroom, took off my clothes and got into the shower. I started the to hum a song, eventually turning to slight singing.
"Sasageyo! Sasageyo! Shinzou o sasageyo! Subete no gisei wa, ima kono toki no tame ni." Suddenly, I heard the door creak open, and I stopped singing. There was footsteps sneaking into the bathroom. The sink turned on and the toilet flushed. The shower water suddenly turned to boiling.
I screamed and fell out of the shower while trying to get away from the water, ripping the curtain down. I saw Lilac run out of the room, and heard a door slam. Jenna was still in the room though. "IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!!" I yelled as she ran out of the room. I quickly slipped on my pajamas and ran after her, not bothering to dry off, and dripped water everywhere.
She burst through the door that connected our room to the monsters room. I followed after her, almost grabbing her. She started throwing objects at me that narrowly missed me.
     Suddenly the door few opened and the monsters stood there, confused at what they saw. Jenna ran behind Sans and picked him up, holding him over her head.
     "TAKE HIM FIRST!" She yelled and threw him at me. We collided, and were both knocked down to the ground, Sans on top. I felt my face go red from blushing, and I could see his check bones turn blue. I sat up, knocking him off. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yep, how about you?"
"I'm alright." I looked at Jenna and stood up. She bolted out the door and I ran after her. She ran through the hallway, but my long legs were faster than her short legs. It's pretty weird that she's never grown since I first met her when she was in 6th grade.
I tackled her to the ground and pinned her down. "Don't you EVER do that again!" I whispered through gritted teeth in her ear. I stood up and pulled her along. "lets go back to the room." I dragged her along with me back into our room. I could see she was shaking. I noticed Sans standing by the door, watching us. "Sorry about her," I apologized "she gets out of hand sometimes."
"I'm not mad, it just scared me." I reassured her once we got inside. She looked at me with a sinister smile. "What?" I asked. "You have a crush~" she teased. "W-what? No I d-don't!" I told her. "Yea, you do. I saw you blush~" She said "So? Maybe I was just embarrassed!" I argued. "You're embarrassed around him all the time?" She retorted.
     I sighed. "How about we just not talk about it and go to bed?" I asked, and opened the door to my room. "Sure. I'll make sure to tell Lilac about your little crush~" she said.
     "Shut. Up." I said threatening. Her eyes is were filled with a look that screamed 'meh.' "Alright."Jenna said. She ran over to the room she was sharing with Lilac. I sighed and walked back into my room and got into bed, trying to sleep.

I was awoken by Jenna yelling. "HEY ABIGAIL, I'M GOING TO THE POOL!"
     "SHUT UP! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!" I yelled back before rolling over.
