I walked into Ryder's back yard, and sat down onto the wooden swing. I rocked my feet back and forth a little bit to make the swing move. I pulled my phone out and went to my messages to text Mason that I'm here.

To: Mason- Hey I'm here. So I'm ready when you guys are.

I swiped out of the app, then went onto Facebook. All over Facebook your can see get well wishes for Ryder, and people excited that he's coming home today. Everyone posting that they wanna hang out with him when he gets home, and stuff.

I closed out of the app, and turned on my music. I closed my eyes and leaned my head back.

Five minutes later I heard a car door slam, causing me to look up. Of course I couldn't see any cars because I'm in the back yard, but I can hope that it was Ryder. Ten seconds later Ryder and Mason appeared in the backyard, and started making there way towards me. I jumped up and ran towards them, my phone falling onto the ground in the process. I didn't care though, I got to finally see him. At his house. Out of that hospital. I wrapped my arms around both of them.

"I missed you guys!" I yelled.

"You just saw me yesterday." Ryder laughed.

"You saw me like two hours ago." Mason said, having the same reaction as Ryder.

I wrapped my arms around Ryder's neck, and pressed my head into his chest. To hear his heart beat, and to have his arms around me again felt so good.

"I'm glad your home." I whispered.

"So am I." I heard him say in my ear.

I let go of Ryder and gave Mason the same type of hug. He's my best friend after all, and I think he deserves a hug too. Especially for heading up there to get Ryder.

"Thanks for getting him." I said.

"Anytime."

I pulled away from him, and we all made our way back to the bench. Ryder sat on my left, and Mason at my right. I picked up my phone which still currently laid on the ground, and turned my music off.

"Listening to Justin Bieber?" Ryder laughed.

"No!" I could feel my cheeks heat up. He isn't all that bad, but I swear I wasn't listening to him. Pandora stations tend to play whatever they want, and at this very moment it decided to play Justin Bieber what do you mean. Are you for real phone?

"Hey guys." We all looked forward and saw Colton making his way towards us.

"Sup dude." Colton and Ryder did a bro handshake, then he hugged him the way guys do.

"Hey Casey, how you been?"

"Great." I smiled as he hugged me.

He then did the same shake he did with Ryder, with Mason. Since the three of them are best friends, they probably all share the same handshake.

"Ryder." A high pitch voice boomed throughout Ryder's backyard.

Jayden. She strutted up to Ryder in hes skimpy  tan skirt, tan high heels, and light pink crop top. Her hair curled in curls, and her bright red lipstick showing off her small lips.

She wrapped her arms around Ryder's neck, and I could feel him tense beside me. I felt Mason put his hand against my shoulder.

"Don't punch her." He whispered in my ear. I looked down at my hands to see them both balled up. I unclenched my fist and noticed she was still hugging him.

"Let go of him." I demanded. She backed up and looked at me.

"Not you again." She said in disgust.
