The Kingdom of Haicia

We got home 30 minutes ago but because Damien kept on making excuses and trying to install time, I flipped and almost broke the kitchen table. He told me to calm down but that enrage me even more.

"If you want me to fucking calm down then fucking tell me!" I yelled at him.

He looked up at me with an amused look after resting his cup of tea on the table and said, "Watch your language kid."

"Oh haha."

"Alright. Sit down and I'll begin."

"Oh you better," I said with bit of threat in my voice.

"Where do you want me to start?" He asked.

"Why do I have powers and why is it that I can hear another voice inside my head."

"Okay. So there was three family lines that has passed down magic or powers through generations after generations and only these families have powers. The Agu, Sirion, and Ysenda. Each family have their own kingdom and their own specific powers. The Sirion was special. They have their own individual power like the other two, however, there's more to it. They also have the ability to learn the Agu's and Ysenda's power.

I interrupted, "How are they special though?"

"I just said that they're special because they're the only one who can learn the powers of the other families."

"Ohh. Wow, that's cool."

"Do you still want to listen or not?"

I sucked my teeth at him but remained quiet and so he continued. "One of the three family was jealous of the special ability so they secretly plan to overtake their throne. That action caused a war that lasted 3 days and 2 nights. Even though the family with the special ability was more powerful than the rest, they lost. They didn't want to spill blood anymore blood. Hell, they never wanted to spill any blood to begin with but they had no choice. So instead of wasting more blood, they chose to surrender. Yes, they surrendered but because the other family were brutal and merciless, they killed the whole family. At least that's what they thought. The king and queen managed to escape with a 5 year old boy. The other family looked all over the place but couldn't find them because the king created a barrier to hide them. One year later, the king and queen gave birth to a baby girl and that baby is you."

"Ohh....WAIT WHAT!!!!!" I screamed. It's like Damien knew I was going to scream because he covered his ears before I finished functioning what he just said. "YOU'RE LYING!! NO WAY THAT CAN BE TRUE!"

Damien rolled his eyes at me and said, "Then where did you get your powers from?"

"I...I don't know."

"Exactly so shut your mouth and let me finish." Still shocked from the news, I didn't know what to say next but nod as he continued. "As I was saying, your parents gave birth to you. They named you Sky because they haven't seen the sky in that 1 year due to your father's barrier. He could've took it down but because he didn't want to risk anything, he and your mother went on without ever seeing the sky again. Five days later after you were born, you started showing signs of your magic. You were young yet you possessed great power, consisting both dark and light. Because your parents feared that the dark will overwhelm the light and take over your soul, they sealed all your powers away. To sealed your powers, they had to take down the barrier and when they took it down, the family that has been looking for your parents sensed them. Your parents knew about this so they placed you in my arms and told me to take you and run away. I, of course, refused but your father used his power and sent me away.

"I had no idea where your father had sent me but that didn't stop me from trying to find them. I finally discovered their track after two days of looking. I found them hiding in a cave near the old kingdom. They were badly injured. They told me that the other family somehow knew about your existence so they used their last breath to ask me to look after you and make sure you won't unseal your powers. But most important of all, they wanted me to make sure you have a normal life. Right when they finished what they're saying, they closed their eyes and went to an everlasting dream and never woke up again."

Tears were countlessly falling down my face. I was speechless. I've known nothing about my parents. I've never expected them to go through so much. I also didn't know how much Damien had to go through. Now I know why every time I asked Damien about my parents, he would give me a sad look. He was guilty. He hated himself for not being able to do anything to help them.

"I'm...sorry," I quietly said. It was all I can muster out. I quietly got up and went to my room. I laid down on my bed and quietly cried to myself.

After I finished crying and feeling sorry for myself, I got up and took a nice, long bath. Baths are the only thing that really relaxes me and it's the only time where I am able to have a deep thought. When I finished with the bath, I swear to my self that I will definitely get revenge. I'll revenge you guys. Mother. Father. Please look after me. I swear. I will revenge both of you and our kingdom. I will rise our long lost kingdom from the dead. I will not let it fall ever again.

Third POV

After being told about her past and her true identity, Sky changed. She had a different look in her eyes. It's not the usual bright, cheerful look that she has always have. Now it's cold and deadly. She has set her future and goal on getting revenge.
