Chapter 12: Thumping

Taehyung and his team members met at the airport. But one was missing, Jungkook. No one heard from him. They texted him, called him but no call or text was returned. They decided to go without Jungkook and just texted him the location of the place they're staying at.

Meanwhile, what do you think happened to Jungkook?

BACK AT JUNGKOOK'S PLACE

"Ahjumma I'm going!" Jungkook yelled as he closed the front door.

Jungkook was shook (Jungshook!) as he saw a tall figure of a man in front of him, panting.

"Hyung? What are you doing here?"

"I need to tell you something. Because if I don't, I think I'm going to go crazy." Hoseok stated.

"Right now Hyung? Well, maybe not today. I have important things to—"

Jungkook froze as he felt a pair of soft lips crash into his. He neither pulled away, or kiss him back.

"Hyung what are you doing?"

"I told you. I have to tell you today," Hoseok explained.

"O-okay then. C-come in" Jungkook invited, still unable to comprehend what just happened.

BACK AT THE RESORT

Taehyung and his team members arrived at the resort 2 hours after boarding the plane and was playing water polo in the pool. It was getting dark already, as the sky lit up with stars.

Jungkook arrived at the resort looking for the other members.

2 HOURS LATER

"And you Jeon Jungkook, you're very late!" one of his female co-workers said.

"Noona, you're drunk. Go and get some rest already"

Jungkook's eye caught Taehyung and others splashing water.

"Hey guys stop it!" Taehyung yelled, looking like he really wanted them to stop.

Taehyung's face turned really pale, but only Jungkook noticed.

"Hey guys! Didn't he tell you stop?!"

Everyone was so flustered as they heard Jungkook scream for the first time.

"Woah woah! We thought you don't know how to talk!" one of them bashed.

"Hey guys that's enough" Taehyung scolded as he got up from the pool.

"Hey Jungkook, I want to talk to you" Taehyung added.

Jungkook followed Taehyung to his room.

Taehyung grabbed 2 glasses and filled it with water. He then took out something that looked like pills to Jungkook.

"Tae— wh-what's that f-for?"

"Oh this? It's uh-uhm... vitamins" Taehyung lied, not wanting Jungkook to know about his sickness.

Jungkook nodded with an "o" forming on his lips. Taehyung sat down at the edge of the bed, patting the area beside him he signals Jungkook to sit beside him.

"What happened to you? Why are you late? Is everything fine?"

Jungkook's body stiffened. He didn't want to remember what happened earlier. He knew it would just make him break down.

"Jungkook, your father killed my mother" Hobi frowned, thinking about the moments when his mother was still breathing.
