Chapter 19: You and Me

A FEW WEEKS LATER

"Hey Kook," Taehyung seductively whispered on Jungkook's ear, making the younger shiver.

"Hey Tae, what do you wanna eat?" Jungkook asked as he rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands.

"Hmm...let me think" Taehyung murmured on Jungkook's ear once again, making the younger turned on.

"Tae, don't test me" Jungkook warned as he trapped Taehyung in between his arms when he pushed Taehyung to lie down at the bed.

"Try me" Taehyung challenged as he leaned in to Jungkook's face, almost closing the gap.

"Hey baby, you just got discharged" Jungkook sighed, standing back up.

"But.." Taehyung whined as he pouted.

"Tae come on! Stop pouting or I might change my mind and you wouldn't want that," Jungkook smirked as he headed to the kitchen to cook breakfast.

Jungkook slightly yelped as he felt a pair of arms snake its way on his waist, pulling him into a back hug.

"Seriously Tae? Come on, you need to rest"

"Oh come on—"

Jungkook pecked Taehyung's lips and Taehyung just turned away, covering his face.

"Okay, now what was that?" Jin asks as he stands at the front door, holding some groceries.

"Da-dad" Taehyung stuttered, trying to explain what had happened just before his eyes.

"Taehyung, are you...a thing?" The eldest asked, pointing at the two of them.

The brunette slightly nodded, looking at Jungkook's uneasy expression.

"Tae, son. Listen," Jin sighed as he walked to where Taehyung was standing.

"No, stop. Please. Not today" Jungkook pleaded as he glared at Jin.

"What is it?" Taehyung nervously inquired, afraid of the answer to his question.

"I-It's just that—Namjoon and I are getting married" Jin sighed.

"Oh really? That's great! What's so wrong with that?" Taehyung knitted his eyebrows in confusion.

"N-na-namjoon is..." Jungkook said in a low tone while looking everywhere but his lover's eyes.

"Wa-wait" Taehyung stepped back, still quite puzzled at the situation.

He took another step and held onto the counter table, finally putting the pieces together.

"Tae! Are you—"

"Jungkook, I need some time alone, let's go dad" the elder coldly muttered and left the house.

"I love you" Taehyung mumbled under his breath as he closed the door.

"H-hey Dad" Taehyung weakly smiled at his father.

"Yeah?" Jin smiled back, putting his hand over his son's.

"I'm doing it"

|FLASHBACK|

Jimin was out buying some toiletries for his brother who was still at the hospital.

As he carefully opened the door, suspecting that his hyung was sleeping, the only thing he heard was the sound of someone puking. It happened once again, it's been days since Taehyung has been puking blood and it's making him worried.

"Hyung!" Jimin quickly picked up a face towel and brought it to Tae.

"Thanks" Taehyung gladly took the towel, wiping off the left residue of his blood.

"Hyung, I didn't really want to tell you this...but I can't watch you suffer any longer" Jimin frowned, still thinking twice wether he should tell him or not.

"Hmm? What is it?"

"Uhh-uhmm your da-dad, he has a way for you to not die"

"What do you mean?"

"The process is a bit risky, but I think it's worth a try hyung" Jimin spoke, coming along with a sigh from his hyung.

"I don't really know, I'll think about it"

"Great! Thanks hyung. I'll text you the details! Now I have to go since I'm meeting Yoon—a friend!"

|END OF FLASHBACK|

The loud banging sound from the door has awoken Jimin from his slumber. He barely found his way to the door and the moment he opened it. He found Jungkook standing by the door.

"Jimin-ah! Is Taehyung here?"

Jimin slowly shook his head no and Jungkook started saying under his breath.

"Then where is he?"

"Jungkook-ah, he's gone"
