I stepped around him and towards the door. Wes was making his way to meet me there. Bash would likely make an announcement or say a few words once his blood returned to where it should be and he could think again. I wasn't used to flirting but I was beginning to remember how to do it. Judging by the fact that Bash hadn't moved from that spot I didn't think I'd mucked it up.

Gemini was pleased with me. She was even more eager to meet Sebastian now. This could be fun, maybe there was something to this mate bond thing after all?

Bash turned towards me, he nodded his head in a way I interpreted as 'touché.' Bash was a subtle man but I knew, he was done giving me space. I'd given him the signal, and as Alek would put it Bash was prepared to court me.

Remarkably, the idea of being pursued by that man was exhilarating. Who says I couldn't have a little fun of my own. I wasn't prey and I was quickly learning that being an Omega meant I didn't have to play by the rules. Rule number five, don't challenge a dominant wolf. And there was no more dominant wolf than Sebastian Harvey Phillips.

Rules shmules.

He stepped up near the raised section of the patio. The majority of the pack was down below scattered across the yard. Only the most dominant wolves were on deck though on the lower part and not behind the Alpha. Alek, Lance and Conner stood off to the side, their stances disciplined and proud. Wes and I stood near the back door so I could step inside when it was time.

"It's time to greet the Moon." Bash's voice didn't rise but it deepened, drawing on the Alpha. There was command and power vibrating through his words; the twilight air calm and peaceful. "The Goddess is calling."

The pack returned his words. It should have sounded creepy but it was music. "The Goddess is calling."

Wes repeated it as if talking about a lover, his eyes shifting into gold shinned with adoration. His nose tilted towards the east over the lake anticipating the Moon, eyes hooded listening to the Moon's song. People started stripping. Nudity was not an issue in wolf packs, something even I was getting used to. Some of them had bags to store their clothes, others left them in piles. A few folded them up neatly and set them on the tables.

Bash pulled his shirt over his head and I forgot I was supposed to be doing something. He folded it up department perfect and set it in a leather weekender bag. His eyes shifted over to me with that smirk on his face.

One eyebrow rose when I blushed but didn't turn away. Watching me watch him he popped the button of his jeans open and pulled so the zipper pealed down. I couldn't swallow and my heart was racing. When his thumbs slipped into his waistband I jerked away and bumped right into Wes. I stumbled a bit and stepped away from him mumbling incoherently what was supposed to be an apology.
