I went upstairs, took a shower, and came back down to the kitchen. The table was set for all of us, my mother, father, brother and sister. There were five of us. I was the oldest, 17. My sister was ten and my brother seven. My sister thought that I was a creep and my brother was a pest. I guess that is the lot of most older brothers and sisters. We all sat down at the table and began to eat.

My mother brought up the Lempke project. She said that she was proud of me for having helped with this project. My sister was looking for someone to take her to the mall to hang out with her friends. My little brother played with his food.

Dad tried to make conversation, but to be honest I was too tired, and I had a lot on my mind. This project was due and I had no idea where to begin.

By the time dinner was finished and things cleaned up, I finally got to go  upstairs and work on my project. Little did I know that the adventure was about to begin.
