Chapter Two

She's My What?!?

*Matt 🔝*

Anastasia's P.O.V

*alarm ringing*

I groaned and rolled over. Shutting off my alarm I go over next to my room to my bathroom to take a shower. When I get out I put on a pink skater skirt, a white tank crop top with a cardigan and white heels.

I walk over to my mirror to make sure my brown just curled hair looked great. I put on my eye makeup to make my brown eyes pop.
"Ana come on we're gonna be late!" My brother Jason yelled from down stairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back and ran down the stairs. "It's about time." He teases.

I just stuck my tongue out at him. "Mom and dad wanted me to tell you happy birthday for them." He said. "Thanks."
I smiled. "Yep you're getting old." He then said.
I scoffed and rolled eyes. I walk out to the car with Jason following after me. He gets in the divers seat and we take off to school.

When we arrive at school, I get out.
"Bye Jason." I said then run over to Matt who is leaning against his truck.
"Hey babe, happy birthday." He greets me with a smile. "thank you baby." I said with a smile.

He grabs my hand and we walk into the building. We stop at my locker as I get my books out he asks, "You're coming to the bonfire right baby?" He smiled. I smile back, he's so cute with his warm brown eyes and messy brown hair. He's got a nice body too haha. "Of course baby." I said. He smiles wide and grabs my hands as I close my locker. I'm really disappointed. I don't feel anything when he held my hand, I just shake the feeling. We walk into our first block and take our seats. I see my best friend Nicole. "Hey, happy birthday." She said as she hugs me.
"Awww thank you." I replied hugging her back. When we pull away and sit down she asks,
"You going to the bonfire?"

"Of course, it's going to be so fun." I said. "I know I'm going with Jake" she blushes. Jakes one of Matt's best friend.
"Awwww." I said. She blushes. "Stoooop." She whines and I laugh.

"Ok class time, get your notebooks out and copy the notes on the board." Mr.Todd said.
Most of the class groaned at that, but got to work anyway. I grab my notebook and start taking notes. About an hour into class the door opens and I smell the most intoxicating sent. It's smells like cotton candy and watermelon. I look up and see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Everyone's eyes go on her. I notice girls glare and some boys howl others say things like "she's hot!" And "I'd fuck her." My wolf and I growl quietly.

Wait.....Why? What's wrong with me? I thought. I notice she's unfazed by the class and just smirks. So sexy....wait? No I thought. She walks over to the teacher and I listen to their conversation.

Mr.Todd smiles "You must be Chase Carter, I'm Mr.Todd." He introduced himself.
She smiles with a nod. "You can find an empty seat and copy the notes on the board." He told her. "Cool." She said.
She turns around to find a seat when our eyes connect. Butterflies, so many butterflies. Her eyes are so beautiful. The brightest blue I've ever seen. Her hair is golden and her curves say she's a fighter.

I felt Matt put his arm around me and kiss my cheek, but I didn't move. Chase glared,but not at me. This isn't good.
She shook her head and stared to walk to the seat beside me. No! no! no! I thought. I put my hand up to hide my face, a few seconds later I looked over to see her looking at me like I was the most beautiful girl in the world.

"You know you shouldn't hide that beautiful face." She said with a smirk.
I can feel my face getting hot, gosh I probably look like a tomato. My wolf was going crazy with joy because she called me beautiful.

She chuckled "You're cute." She said.
I blushed even more. "thank you, but I have a boyfriend." I whispered.
She growls lowly. Wow she sounds so powerful and she looks powerful too.

"I am." A deep sexy voice says in my head.
Then I hear a chuckle. "And thanks cutie, I'm glad you think I'm sexy."
I gasp out loud and look over to see a smirking Chase.
"How is this possible." I asked.
Referring to the mind link talking.

"I'm your mate." She purrs with a hint of lust in her voice.

"She's my what!?!?!?"

I can't believe this I thought.

"I'm your mate and you are mine" Chase said with pride. "Will you stay out of my head! And that's not possible!" I whisper scream out loud.
"You are a girl and I like boys" I said in a panicked voice. She growled quietly.
"The moon goddess has chosen us to be together, you have to except it." She said with a little anger in her voice.

I didn't know what to say I'm so frustrated. Matt is suppose to be my mate not some new GIRL I just met. I turn to look at her and see her staring up at the board with a glare. Well, it looks like I'm not the only one who's frustrated. At least she stayed out of my head like I wanted. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt a hand on my thigh. I gasped quietly as electric tingles went through my body. I whimpered involuntarily. Chase groaned and her eyes turned a dark shade of blue. All I see is lust and want in her eyes. I could actually feel myself become turned on by this.

As we look into each others eyes she started to move her hand up my thigh I close my eyes and enjoy the feeling. Then the bell rung, my eyes shot open and I jumped up. I looked at Chase to see her about to get up and walk over to me, but I ran out of the room as fast as possible. I can hear her calling my name and I can feel her hurt, but I need to think. I had to get away.

********Outside*********

"How the hell is a girl my mate?" I asked myself . I'm currently sitting outside near the football field with my back laying against a tree. I always come to this spot to think and getaway when things get hard or confusing.
I just don't understand this. I need answers, but I have know idea who I can talk to.
The bell rings for lunch, I sigh in frustration. My brain hurts, being around friends and my boyfriend will help me get my mind off things.

When I make it to the lunch room doors I take a deep breath and walk in.
Some people stare because I'm kinda popular or whatever. I get my lunch and plop down next to Matt. "Hey babe where have you been?" "You missed second block."

"Oh....ummm....I was outside I had a headache and needed to be alone."
He nodded and went back to eating.
It kinda irritated me that he didn't ask if I was okay. I shook my head, started eating my food and talking to Nicole.
When we were done with our lunch we were all going to sit outside. As I was walking out I felt someone grab my arm I came face to face with Chase. "I glared "What do you want?" I whisper yelled.
"You just ran out earlier and I couldn't find you, I was so worried." She replied with a worried look. My heart fluttered. When I didn't say anything she panicked.
"Are you hurt!?" Did someone touch you?" She growled quietly. "No, I'm fine" I said.
She smiled. "Thank god." She went to hug me, but I backed away.

Hurt spread across her face.

"What's wrong" she asked. "You need to stay away from me" I replied. "W-what?" She stuttered on the verge of tears.
"You heard me" I said trying not to cry.

"But we can work this out." She said trying to reach for me.
"No! No we can't!, just stay away from me!" I screamed. I don't know what came over me.
I look to see everyone starring. I look back at Chase to see a few tears running down her face. I was going to say something, but she beat me to it.

"Okay if that's what you want" she said.
I gave her a sympathetic look.
"I'm gonna go." She said quietly and walked away. I feel so awful....
