Something New

Chapter 1 Sleepover

Finally!!! Tonight I get to spend the night with Caty!! I've been waiting all week for this! I'm so excited!! I just want to scream from excitement. I'm packing now. We're having a sleepover for an entire week since summer break just started today. We're even convincing our parents to let me live with her since my parents are making me move. My parents said they didn't care. We just have to convince hers now. I hear a honk. That must be her now. My parents come into my room. "Have fun!" My mother says. My father just nods. He was never one to talk. I give them both hugs. I then get my suitcase and run outside. I get into Caty's car. I'm overjoyed and I can tell she is too. We hug eachother. "This'll be a catastophe." She said. I nodded with a slight giggle. She laughed. We got to her house and ran into her room. I set my stuff on the floor. I am so excited for this.

We sat on her bed.
"So. When are we gonna ask?" I asked. "When my mom is in a good mood and... basically everyone else." She replied. I laughed.
"Alright." I said. We talked more. Eventually her mom came in and told us to sleep.
"I call sleeping on the floor!!!" I said a bit too loudly. Her mom gave me a stern look. I looked down at my lap.
"Sorry..." I said in a soft, sweet voice. She just nodding and walked out. Hailey laughed. I grabbed an extra blanket and pillow and got on the floor.

We talked a bit more and eventually fell asleep. We did that because neither of us can ever fall asleep quickly. It takes so long for us both.

~~~~~Next Morning~~~~~

We awoke. Early... earlier than anyone else. I smirked.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" I asked her. She nodded with a smirk as well. We tiptoed to the kitchen. We grabbed the whip cream and went to her brother's room. I shook the whipped cream and made a mustache on his face. I gave her the whipped cream in his hand. We tickled his nose and he got his hand and hit his nose. He then jumped awake.
"Caty!" He whisper-yelled. She was the one he saw first.

"Casy...?" He asked. I nodded. We both laughed as he looked angry. We ran out and ran back to her room. We would ask her mom in the afternoon.

"Casy, what should we do?" Caty asked. I looked at her touchscreen computer and smiled. She sighed.
"Why?" She asked. I just made a chibi face. She laughed. We went to her computer. And I sat at her desk. And started to make animations. She laughed as I did so.
"It looks bad... I know." I said. She shook her head.
"No." She said sincerely. I nodded with a smile knowing she meant it.
"Okay."

An hour went by and I was still working on an animation. Caty read her new season of warrior cats. Of course. She always does. I was only on the first book... She was laughing. I was too focused in the animation to notice. She looked at me.
"You're still doing that...?" She asked. I nodded.
"Takes a long time huh?" She asked. I nodded. I was too focused to talk. She chuckled.
"Sooo.." She asked shutting her book. I shrugged finally finishing the animation.
"Come." I said waving her over. I just looked at the screen. She nodded and came up behind me. She stood behind the chair I was sitting in. I replayed the animation so she could see. I watched as she reacted considering I watched it five times repeatedly. Her eyes went wide with amazement.
"You did better on your first then I did!!" She said. I smiled a bit with a tiny giggle. "Thanks." I said.
"You're welcome!" She said.
I smiled. I leaned back on the chair.
"So what do you want to do?" I asked. She facepalmed and I laughed.
"I asked you that..." She said. I only laughed harder.
She shrugged and sighed.
"Wanna read?"
"Yeah." I said. "I'm always up for..." I smiled. "Something new." I said. She had a poker face and I laughed. "It's a Set It Off song." I said. She had a strait face now. My eyes lit up. She sighed.
"Go ahead." She said pointing to her conputer. I laughed happily a d got on her computer to put on Set It Off. She smiled. I played their newest album "upside down". That and horrible kids were probably my favorite albums. That and duality. I loved all of Set it Off's songs. They were my favorite band.

A/N: okay... I think that's it for now... this took so long to write.... so I didn't realize the title I made was a set it off song. Hah! I'm dumb. So yeah. Set it off is my favorite band. I didn't realize I added them till I did that.... .-. Anyway. Thanks for reading! BOI!!!
