We went ahead and saw Toriel. She called us then hung up after seeing us.

"Oh. Are you two hurt?" She said. She examined us... and what I guess checked our HP.
"We're fine." I assured her. She nodded.
"Very well, my child." She said. Caty gave me a look after Toriel walked off. She knows my fake... that I know of.... way too well. I wonder if she knows my suspicion for Toriel.

We followed Toriel into her house. It smelled good... like... pie? It smelled delicious.
"Surprise! I baked you two a butterscotch cinnamon pie!" She said. I nodded.
"Follow me." She said. I sighed. I swear this woman was annoying. We followed her to a yellow hallway. We stood in front of the first door.
"A room of you very own!" She exclaimed. She stared at the door. Caty stayed there and I left to explore.

I saw a staircase and decided to go down and see what it was. Not even a second later Toriel appeared behind me.
"You should not be down here. Go play upstairs." She said. How the hell did she know we were down here?!  I thought.

She brought me upstairs and I decided to go to the room. I saw Caty sitting down on a bed. I sat on the bed across from her.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." She replied. She was looking down at the floor kicking her feet.
"Hey dont be a star and space out on me." I said with a sly smile. She quickly looked up at me angrily.
"Not the time for puns!" She yelled. I jumped at her sudden action. The Caty we know wouldnt do that.... I thought.
"The Caty we know?! Who's we?!" I jumped again.
"Woah calm down."

After awhile I finally got used to the other two inside me. Now there's just something we... or I... need to fix. And I need to try to fix it on my own.
"Caty... calm down... please...?" I asked her.
"What do you mean? I am calm!" She said as I sighed.
"Calmer... at least."
"Nah, I'm good." She said calmly wit a laugh. I stared at he blankly.
"This was... a prank..." I said. She nodded trying not to laugh. I just kept staring at her blankly. She ended up bursting out in laughter. I went to the kitchen and saw Toriel standing in front of a pie. I just stood there. She was holding a big knife cutting a slice.... or maybe two of the pie.

She turned around facing me with a bright smile. Two pies in one hand and still holding the knife in the other. I slowly backed away. I never had a good experience wit others holding knives while friends were in another room alone. Don't ask... She now looked confused.
"What is the matter my child?" She asked me. I just shook my head with wide eyes and slowly backed up more and kept doing so as she came closer. I ended up running to the front and climbed the tree. Caty was probably napping. I can't believe I just left her like that! With that goat lady thing in the same household!! Toriel ended up coming outside with nothing in her hands.
"My child. What's wrong...?" She once again asked.
"I'm not your child so stop calling me that!" I yelled at her.

An hour went by and I was in the room. I was reading a book trying to calm down. I bring a bunch of books everywhere with me. I don't ask why. I was reading the last chapter in my book and finally calmed down.

I finished reading a few minutes later. Everyone was asleep. Wow... I read for a long time... I decided to finally explore the downstairs area since I couldn't be caught considering everyone is sleeping. I walked out of the room quietly and shut the door. I ran on my tippy toes, since it was a quiet way of running, to the staircase. I walked down and walked through this long corridor and found a door at the end of it. I got curious and and went up to the door and knocked.
"Gee lady, you're up later than usual." I heard a deep voice say from the other side. I was quite shocked to hear someone on the other side. I didn't think anyone would be there.
"U-ummmm... who's there?" I asked.
"Ya sound different too." He said. I heard something in his voice. What Caty has when telling puns. Was he joking...?
"Are you an apprentice of Toriel?" I was staring to investigate him for no reason in particular.
"Calm down. kid. Answer me this."
"W-what is it?"
"Who is Toriel...?"
"You... you don't know her...?"
"Nah, kid. i don't. Can you tell me who she is?"
"I don't know. Can I?" I asked jokingly. He chuckled a bit. I sat down against the door.
"Seriously, kid. Can ya tell me?"
"Yeah. She's the care taker of the ruins. She lives in this little, cozy house. I'm sure you at least know of her."
"Ah. So her name is Toriel. Nice to know."
"Mhm." I said warming up to the strange man.
"Now tell me-"
"Hm?"
"What's up with all these questions?" He asked with a chuckle.
"I get... cautious I guess you could say."
"Ah." He said then knocked on the door. I was quite confused as to why he did.
"Why did you knock?" I asked him.
"Heh. The proper response is 'who's there?'." He said. I then realized what he was doing and laughed. He knocked again.
"Who's there?" I asked.
"Dishes."
"Dishes who?" I asked knowing where this was leading.
"Dishes a very bad joke." He replied. I laughed.
"That was quite humorous." I said lauging. He did as well.

I'm not the pun person, Caty is. But when I'm in the mood to. I'll make some puns. They are quite grrrreat! (hah! cereal puns!)
"Hey, kid, hate to break it to ya, but I gotta go. My brother gets cranky without his bedtime story." He sayed. I only nodded.
"Seeya kid." He sayed. I heard him get up then a few footsteps then nothing.
"Hm...." I said a bit confused. Then I just shrugged and stood up as well heading upstairs. I got into the room and noticed Caty still sound asleep. I smiled a bit and got into my own bed falling asleep as well.
