Chapter 12 First kill

Casy's P.O.V
I stayed at Sans and Papyrus' house while Caty stayed at the inn. I layed my head down on the couch and closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep. Until I heard Sans.
"Heh, I didnt take you for the lazy type, kid." He said as I sighed. I sat up and looked him dead in the eye.
"I'm not." I said roughly.
"Gee, kid." He chuckled and sat beside me, turning on the T.V. I, having no inteerest in what was happening on the screen, went on my phone and did random things on it.

An hour went by and I started to hear this.... robotic voice...? Whatever, Im sure it's something wierd. That's when I heard him come own. I sighed. Papyrus is so annoying!! He looked on the screen.
"Mettaton's show is on!! It's on early today!!" He gasped in exitement and sat down next to me and Sans.

Another hour of watching the humorous robot went by and a knock on the door came. I looked at it and Sans went to the door, opening it.
"Heya, kid." He said, eyeing the person down. Who is that....? It was quite obvious Sans was suspicious of the person. Wonder why.
"H-hi..." The person said. He nodded once and faced toward me.
"I'm goin' to Grillby's. Anyone wanna come?" He asked. I raised my hand halfway and nodded. he nodded back. He faced the person again. "Welcome to Snowdin, kid." He said. The person smiled a bit.
"Thanks."

We got to Grillby's using one of Sans' "shortcuts". We got inside and I looked at everyone. I saw Caty sitting at a bar.... drinking ketchup. Of course. Sans talked to a few people and made a joke. We st down at the same bar Caty was sitting at. She was right beside me so I nudged her arm with my elbow. She looked at me, smiled, and left. I sighed as she did so. Sans and I talked for a bit and I discovered we aren't that different. Even though he is almost exactly like Caty. We had our fair share of laughs. After a while he left. As did I. I walked through Snowdin, enjoying the sound of the crunch of the snow belw my feet. I walked through Snowdin, going through the foggy place. I stopped, sensing somone. He began talking, and I realized it was Papyrus. He talked to me and I inched closer. I know he was Sans' brother, and that he meant the world to Sans, but he was just really annoying.... I couldn't take it... So I just kept inching closer and closer. He asked for a hug of acceptance. I dropped my knife. I fell to the ground. He watched me. Do everything. I cried, tears clear but red. I realized I had turned to fell. I realized Papyrus was a different version of my brother. Kind, accepting, innocent, sweet. I realized the truth about him. I had realized everything now.

And yet.....

I picked up my knife and stood. Tears streaming down my eyes as he looked at me with a confused look. My right eye glowed red with fire, and my left pitch black. My soul black as I got into the fight with my brother. As I raised my arm snd him him. A slash going through him. No blood. His head dropped and his body turned to ash. His head was on the snow, I was still crying, tears still running down my face.
"I believe in you..... Human...." He spoke befor his head also turned to dust. I fell to the ground crying, right eye still glowing with fire.
The new human saw everything.
Caty saw everything.
Sans..... saw everything. I regretted my previous choices. I regretted everything. Everything I just did. All the sins I just comit.
I could feel the sins crawling on my back.
This new Papyrus, The sweet, innocent kind Papyrus, why did I kill him? Why? Those last words echoed through my head. They didnt escape my mind. They couldnt. I didnt realize I was still Fell, still a boy, and honestly, I didnt even care. Not now of all times. Especially not now.

I lifted my head. I saw the forest. I saw Sans disappear in the trees. I turned around I saw Caty. She backed away. I saw the new human. She smiled, and disappeared. I was all alone. Red staining my face. I turned back into Casy. The geek, the one who wouldnt kill a soul, or so evryone took her as. They didnt see the truth behind her, behind me. They didnt see that I would kill. They didnt see.... Who I truely was. Thy all thought i was always joking around, when in reality, I wasnt. I wanted them to see that, and now that they have, I no longer want hat wish. I don't want any of it anymore. I probably lost my best friend.....

I was in water fall, sitting down by the first waterfall with my feet in the water. I enjoyed the sound, look, and feel of the water. That's when I sensed someone next to me. I looked to my right and saw Caty. She looked at me with smile. I scoffed and turned back to the waterfall.
"Do you think I hate you?" She asked. I nodded. One tear.
"I don't." Two tears.
"How do I know...?" Three tears.
"I just wanted to give you space. I thought you needed it." Four tears.
Silence. Five.
Six.
Seven.
Eight.
Nine.
I lost count. more and more tears came down. I turned around and hugged her in on clear motion. She hugged back.
"It's comforting to know I haven't lost one of my only friends...." I thought. Silence. I must have said it aloud. More silence. I definetly did. More and more silence came. Until we both got up and continued our journey.
