Her mom opened her mouth to speak.
"Well..." She said. We looked down thinking she'd say no.
"Yes." Caty and I both looked up at her with huge smiles. I hugged her.
"Thank you!" I said. She hugged me back.
"You're welcome." I ran home.

"Mom! I'm home!" I yelled out.
"Hey. What's she say?"
"She said yes." I said running to my room. My mom didn't say anything. She just continued to wash dishes. I started to pack up. Once done I ran to Caty's house. They had a room for me already. I went into my new room and started moving in my stuff.

I went back to Caty's room. We jumped up and down and started to squeal. We were so happy.

After a while we started to get bored. We had an idea. We wanted to go on an adventure. It was pretty late outside. We looked out the window then to eachother. We decided to go ahead and risk it. We climbed out the window and started walking.

While we walked we started to talk as well.
"Where should we go?" Caty asked.
"I don't know."
"Hmmm..." caty said as we walked along the edge of the forest.
"Wait... ya wanna go into the forest?" I asked.
"But what if we get lost?"
"We won't"
"Okay." She said with a sigh.

We walked into the forest. We went pretty deep in too. We ended up seeing an abandoned building.
"Let's go in." I suggested.
"But-"
"Cmon!" I said. She sighed.
"How do you so this?"
"I don't know." I said with a shrug. We went inside. It was kinda dark. But other than that it was pretty cool.

We walked around a bit more. Suddenly there was a loud bang.
"What was that?!" Caty whispered.
"I don't know."
"We should leave."
"No. Let's check it out."
"Casy!"
"Okay, you're right. Stupid idea."
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
"Can we leave now?!"
"Yeah."
"Okay. Thanks."
"Yeah, yeah." I whispered.

We left the abandoned building and ran out of the woods. Caty seemed scared... I wonder why.

Caty's P.O.V
That was just like in my nightmare. I'm glad I convinced her to leave. We got home. We got in through the window. Now I'm glad my room was on the first floor. Casy went on her phone.
"I need that animation app..." She mumbled loud enough for me to hear. I just lightly chuckled.
"Yeah?" I said. She didn't respond. She's probably focused. I layed in my bed on my back. I was sprawled on my bed.
"Finally. It's downloaded." She said just above a whisper.
"Let's go to sleep now. Okay?" I said. She nodded.
"Night." She said. She left my room shutting the door. I fell asleep.

Caty's P.O.V
I awoke to Casy shaking me awake.
"What?"
"C'mon! There's this place I go to every July 4th."
"Huh?" I asked groggily rubbing my eyes.
"Today's July 4th."
"And?"
"There's this place I always go to. It's really neat and cool."
"And...?"
"I wanna take you!"
"Fine." I said with a sigh.
"Yay!" She said as I chuckled. I put on my blue jacket and she put on her green sweater her older sister gave her. It was an olive green. It was really thin.

We went outside. Lucky for Casy it wasn't cold outside.
"Okay. Let's go." She said. I nodded. We ended up going to this landscape thing. There was three flowers. I red, one blue, and on pink. Further up and to the left there was sparkly light blue water.
"I hope we're not too late." She said. I was so confused. Too late for what...? I thought.

Really random A/N: my coffee and ice melted..... ._. Anyway. Back to the story.

The water shot up. Woah.... it went up so far. Then it just calmed. She looked happy. That was amazing!! None of the water went down when it calmed. It just randomly calmed. Casy walked to it.
"What are you doing?" I asked. She just ignored me. What's up with her...? She fell into the water.

After a while she didn't come up. I ran to the water and looked down for her. She was nowhere. I fell into the water. It felt as if I was being pushed. I couldn't reach the surface. I was stuck in here. I then realized I could breath. What? I called for Casy. I felt a pull at my leg and screamed. I saw Casy then swim up to me and laughed. I gave her a poker face. She laughed harder.

I tried swimming to the surface again. So did she. We made it to the surface. We got out of the water and started coughing. We hugged eachother showing we're still alive. We stood up and looked at one another.
She then went wide eyed.
"What?" I asked.
"Caty..."
"What is it..?"
"Caty... you have cat ears... and a tail...." She said.
"What?!" I exclaimed. I looked behind me seeing a tail. We ran home and into my room. I saw my ears in my mirror.
"Woah..." I said.
"What are we gonna do?!" Casy exclaimed.
"I... I don't know..." I said back.

After about an hour I noticed i could change into a cat or complete human. Casy was in the kitchen getting water. I turned into a cat and hid under my bed. Casy came back and set the glass at my computer desk. She looked around for me.
"Caty...?" She said. I lie down at the edge of my bed watching her.

"Caty? Where are you?" She asked worriedly. I mewed. She looked under my bed.
"Hey there." She said.
"Mew."
"Whatcha doin?"
"Mew."
"You're adorable." She chuckled and pet my head. I purred. How does she not know it's me...?

She went back to looking for me. I ran out from under the bed and turned human.
"Hey." I said from behind her. She looked behind hee and hugged me.
"Where were you?!"
"I was the cat." I giggled. She let go and gave me a poker face. I giggled more. She sighed.
"I can't believe you. You scared me!" She said. I giggled again.
"Sorry." I said. She sighed.
"It's fine."
"Yay!!"
