Chapter 30

Jay's POV

I was planning my take over. I wanted to knock the last of their remaining crew, beginning with the 2 brothers and their lil homie Snook. I already fucked up by letting that nigga Duke stay alive. Hell I should have went for Snook first since he stole Nique from me. Man I loved that girl but she took my heart and ripped it out and poured salt into my wounds.

"Boss" my homie Jason says walking into my office.

"Nigga what I told you about walking in here without knocking first?"

Nique's POV

I gave the guys everything that I knew about Jay. From his phone number, to his address and a few spots he would hang out at.

I was chilling at home with my baby girl when my big brother walked in my room. "Wassup bro?" I asked.

"Ma left and I'm finna head out so you need to watch the twins until she returns." he says.

"Where are they at?"

"They are in the living room playing the xbox one."

"Aight."

"I'm out lil sis love you." he said. "And I love you too uncles baby" he cooed.

I laid in the bed until I heard the twins arguing in the living room. "Ughh!" I got up and walked into the living room. "Kaiden and Kaydie what are y'all arguing for?"

"He cheated playing 2k" Kaydie said.

"No I didn't you just can't play." he retorted.

"I can play." she said. "Acting like I didn't see you change the settings to help you shoot the ball better."

"Did you do that Kaiden?" I asked.

"Well yea I did." he said.

"Well that's a form of cheating."

"No it's not. It's called being smart and knowing how to win."

"I'm not finna go back and forth with you."

"You don't have too. Ain't nobody tell you to bring your ass out the room."

"Boy who tf you think you cursing at?" I said standing over him. "I maybe your sister but I'll be damn if you curse at me."

"Tj let's me curse infront of him."

"Well I'm not Tj. Tj is a dumb ass. Now do it again and see won't I tell ma."

"Okay I'm sorry."

"That's better. Now turn off that game system and come watch movies in my room and we'll order some pizza." I told him.

They did what I told them and went down the hall into my room. I went back in my room and grabbed my phone so I can order us some Dominos. After I ordered the pizza I went back in the living room to straighten it up.

As soon as I finished vacuuming the living room floor shots rang off. I quickly dropped to the floor and crawled as fastly as I could to my room.

"Kaiden and Kaydie get under the bed now." I told them. I seen their mouths about to open and quickly shut them down. "Don't question me just do what I say." They reluctantly got under the bed. I grabbed Diamond off the bed and went into my closet. I called Snook.

"Wassup baby?" he said answering the phone.

"Get over here now." I said whispering and looking at Diamond.

"What happened? And what are you whispering for?"

"Somebody was shooting at the house."

"I'm otw." he said hanging up.

I heard the front door get bust open and people speaking in the distance. I tried to keep Diamond as quiet as possible.

"No one is here Jay." One of the guys said. Jay? It couldn't be. I really thought the guys were bullshittin when they said that Jay was out to get me.

"Wtf do you mean no one is here? Her car is the drive way."

"We can't find her." Another one said.

"Check all the rooms." Jay said. As soon as he said that I could hear footsteps coming down the hall. I heard the door knob turn followed by more gunshots and the twins screaming and crying.

Wtf has my life come too ? I opened the closet door to come face to face with Jay.

"Long time no see Dominique." he said with the most evilest smirk on his face. He had the twins on the side of him. I could tell they was scared.

"Whatever your problem is with me handle it but leave them out of it." I said through gritted teeth.

"Poor Dominique. Now you know.." he was in mid sentence before Snook, Trey and Duke came busting in the room.

"Wasgood?" Snook said to Jay. "Were the ones you really looking for." Jay stood there looking like he seen a ghost.

The twins quickly jumped across the bed and ran into my arms. "Go into the closet now. And don't come out until I say so."

"It's whatever." Jay said. "I've been ready to off all 3 of you niggas for some time now." he said pulling out a gun.

"Well what are you waiting for cause it ain't nothing but space and opportunity seperating us." Trey said.

I seen Jay quickly take the safety off of his gun.

I screamed causing the gun to turn in my direction and a piercing pain.

All I remember was hearing more gun fire, Snook rushing to my side, and everything going white.
