Chapter 28

Juicy POV

I thought since Duke was now alive and not dead how we thought he was that we could catch up but I guess that was an understatement.

It's all good I suppose.

Anyways me, Nique, Jaz, and the kids were at the mall shopping for the little ones some clothes. We were currently in the True Religion store in the children section.

"This would be so cute on Skye" Nique said.

"You think?" Jaz asked Nique analyzing the hot pink baby True Religion shirt.

"Yea. Imma get Diamond the same one." Nique said looking for Diamond the same shirt in a bigger size.

I found these cute blue and white cloud like True Religion Jeans for Karmen with a matching sky blue shirt.

We spent atleast 30 minutes at the most in there before we went into The Children's Place.

We started picking up all kinds of tutu's, dresses, suits, slacks, bow ties, jeans, and cute little shirts. Jaz even took it upon herself to buy Lil Trey some suspenders. I swear she always had a fettish for them.

After we left there we had went to Footlocker to get them some more shoes. I don't understand why little kids especially babies have to have all these expensive ass shoes if they are only gone grow out of them. But I'm no baby expert nor am I a parent so I'm just gone shut my mouth on that one.

"Soo.... Nique" I said. "You never really told us on how you and Snook got back right" I took a sip of my sprite as we sat in the food court.

She started blushing at the question. "Girl it just kind of happened." she shrugged. "Were not really a couple. I mean we act like a couple, but as of now were just co-parenting."

"Co-parenting?" Me and Jaz asked with a eyebrow raised.

"Yea co-parenting" she said putting emphasis on it.

"Yea with benefits." Jaz added making us laugh.

"Shut yo ass up." Nique said trying to catch her breath. "Enough about me and mines wassup with you and Duke?"

"We just chillin." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Chillin?"

"Yea chillin. He hasn't really been around much." I admitted. "He is too busy trying to get back at them niggas who adult napped his ass."

Jaz and Nique shared a look and said "Bihhh" in unison and they both started laughed.

I looked at them funny. Hell I wanna laugh too. "What's so damn funny?"

They stopped laughing and Jaz spoke up "Yo ass said adult napped."

"Y'all so damn childish but hell it's true" I said defending my statement.

"But fr though things are gonna get better baby." Jaz reassured me. "Cause I haven't seen much of Trey's ass since Duke been back." she spoke while helping Karmen open her toy that she got in her kids meal.

"Same here with Snook" Nique added. "I'm so damn sexually fru-"
"Wassup lil mama?" I heard a voice ask me in my ear. I immediately took in the smell of his polo cologne and a smile formed on my face.

Before I could respond to Duke Karmen starts yelling "Daddy! Daddy!Daddy" with the widest smile on her face.

Jaz POV

"Hey daddy's babies" Trey said picking up Karmen, glancing at the twins while they slept and winking at me with a smirk on his face.

"What are y'all doing here?" I asked them.

"Just stopping thru to check on y'all" he said while pulling up a chair in front of the twins stroller and placing Karmen in his lap.

"Oh really nie" I said taking a glance at Juicy and Duke as they walked off talking.

"Yea really" he responded playing with Karmen. "So what have y'all been up too all day anyways?" he asked me.

"Shopping. You know the usual" I said while picking over my food.

"I see that." he said looking over at our bags. "Spending up all my hard earned money, but y'all are worth it." he smiled looking at us with a big ass kool-aid smile on his face.

I couldn't help but too match the smile on his face. "What you smiling so hard for?" I asked. "The same reason you're smiling so hard for." he said. I couldn't help but too blush.

"Come on Trey we finna get up out of here." Snook said walking up to the table with Diamond in his arms and Nique beside him. Damn I ain't even realize Snook was with them and damn sure didn't see Nique leave the table.

"Aight then my boy." Trey said placing Karmen back in her seat.

"Where Duke at?" Snook asked.

"Right here" Duke said walking up to the table with his arm draped around Juicy who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Aight we'll catch up with y'all later." Trey said kissing the twins on the forehead and kissing Karmen on her cheek before pecking my lips.

"Okay baby" I responded before watching the three of them walk off into the crowded food court.

"Y'all two are so cute" Nique commented.

"Thank you, same to you too." I said.

We decided that after we left the mall that we would go back to my apartment for a lil movie night.

When we pulled up into the parking lot of my apartment complex Juicy helped me get a sleeping Karmen out and the twins who were now wide awake while Nique was at her car getting Diamond out. "Girl I don't see how you do it." Juicy said.

"Do what?" I asked nonchalant.

"Take care of two babies and a toddler." She said.

I really don't see how either. "I guess it's just something that came second nature. You feel me."

"Yea I understand" she said.

I handed Skye's carseat to Juicy as she held Karmen in her arms. I closed the door of my car. I was gone go and get the bags out of the car once I had the kids settled in.

Nique walked alongside of us with Diamond on her hip. As we approached the apartment door I could see where the door looked to have been kicked in and slightly opened. Oh hell nahh.

I pushed opened the door and my apartment looked a mess. Pictures thrown everywhere, important papers scattered across the floor, even my living room tv was missing. "Whose ass I gotta beat" Nique and Juicy said at the same time. I couldn't even respond to that. I just simply put Trey's carseat down by the couch and called Trey.
