Please note that while there are many choices and options to design a truly unique character uploaded right now, these are far from all races, classes or powers available.
Please note that there is no character sheet at the moment but I hope to have this available in the near future. In the meantime, please have a pen and regular paper at hand. ;)
The Character
You live in the aftermath of the Arch Wars, a grand cataclysmic even that lasted over 200 years. At the time, gods clashed and their servants, the mortals, blindly followed in their onslaught. People suffered and it was the end of many great kingdoms, quickly erased from history with only a few ruins revealing that they had ever existed.
It is now 20 years since the last warring kingdoms agreed on mutual terms for peace and villages as well as cities are starting to return to a normal way of life.
Weakened by this harsh time, people are trying to grow their societies again while being ever vigilant to the many threats that lurk just outside their walls, be it monsters or rivalling nations.
Here, among kings and queens, wizards and sorcerers, where do you fit into this world? How will you make your mark? Will you be the one to restore the world to its former glories or the one that finally dooms it?
Character building:
This section includes all the details you need to be able to create a playable character within the Ravaged Realms. Whether you are looking to become a relentless berserker or a devious necromancer, it all starts here.
Design Points (DP):
Each player receives 100 DP to develop their character. Luck does not influence the outcome of your character at all. As long as you have points, you can alter whatever you want, ensuring that your character turns out exactly as you imagined. DP: s are used for everything during the character creation, from choosing your race to determining your wealth and social standing.
It is recommended that each player reads through this section to make sure they make the most out of their 100 DP, establishing some sort of path for themselves, as it can be tricky to go through each step not knowing how much you want to save for the next step. Alternatively, the Realm Master (RM) can collect players' ultimate wishes for their characters and lay out a plan, giving them a certain amount of points to use during each step. This ensures the players can afford their races and classes as well as any unique powers they really want. A general rule is to save at least 20 DP for race and class after character attributes have been established.Character Creation Beginning Step:
This section explains the most vital areas of your character, such as attributes, race and class. These are the things you want to decide on before anything else.
Character Attributes:
The first and most important thing a character needs is their attributes. These will influence everything a character does and so they are the first section of the character build. These attributes will be modified by most races but you will purchase the basic stats here.
There are six attributes in total, each varying between 1 and 6 without any modifications being applied. You spend DP to increase these attributes to the amount you want. At the end of the character creation step, your attributes may be modified by race, class or power bonuses for better or worse and so may bring them beyond 6 or below 1 (to 0).
The six attributes are:
Strength (Str)
Strength shows a character's raw physical power. This attribute is important for any close combat attacks, athletic feats and carrying capacity. A warrior wants to focus on this attribute.
