Hello my lovely readers and lost souls,

If you have checked my profile already, you might have realized that I am from Austria, hence my profile photo. Therefore English is not my first (or for that matter second) language. So, yes there will be mistakes all over this book. They will not only be grammatical, but will appear as typos as well since I am very much human and not an android. Please bear with me. Should you find typos or grammatical errors point them out nicely and I shall do my best to correct them.

Another thing I kindly ask you to do, is to be polite towards not only myself, but also other readers. Disagreement on various topics is not just normal but also a key element for a modern democracy. We all have made different experiences in life and therefore sometimes see things from sundry points. That is completely okay. Don't ever be afraid to voice your own thoughts. I don't mind people arguing with me or anybody else as long as arguments don't turn into insults. Insulting somebody for their view, no matter how "dumb" or "naive" it might seem to you, is never a justified response. Explain to them (or me) why you oppose their opinion rather than using hurtful words.

One last thing, this is something that really bothers me. I have spent quite some time reading various stories posted by all kinds of authors living all over the world, so yes, you would be right to assume that I am practically always searching for another book to read. Anyways, during my search I came across some stories which views i strongly disagree with. I know writing is all about leaving this world behind and finding yourself in another one, but rape and any other form of abuse are never, ever okay. Nothing will ever justify these crimes. I was shocked to see that some girls out there seem to not only enjoy stories in which rape or abuse is being justified by the words "he was hot", but also openly support this (in my view) misguided display of sex. Even though, yes, these are works of fiction and we are all allowed to have dirty dreams from time to time, yet it is never okay to use someone's good looks as their defense for an act this cruel. Of course, rape and assault are a huge topic on platforms like Wattpad or even in some people's personal lives and it is totally okay to talk and read about it. Even though some stories tend to get pretty dark and yet we read them, simply because we enjoy them or are stuck with the storyline. But there have to be rules. For a beginning it would be great if the authors wouldn't defend the guys with "he was hot" (that's not even a valued defense) but rather judge them for it, for instance stating in an Authors note that they are not okay with that kind of behavior and that "being hot" doesn't make rape go away or any less painful. (Cause being honest I couldn't care less whether my rapist was hot or not. After all he is raping me.) Since it is essential for this story's flow there will be violence and even a certain amount of abuse. Yet, neither me nor the guilty character will be okay with this kind of behavior. Please if you ever get the feeling I didn't make that clear enough at a certain point of the story, just let me know, so I can work out a solution for it.

Oh...I nearly forget. Since I myself am a rather silent reader I won't be mad at anyone for not commenting. However if you leave a comment or vote, you would definitely brighten my day.

Now I have most certainly rambled on for long enough, please go on and enjoy my story.
