The male picked up the knife you had dropped with distaste, his brown eyes narrowing from behind his orange goggles.

You chuckled nervously as he lifted his head to look at you.

Wait... why am I the one acting nervous?! You realized. It was him who did something wrong!

"Don't you narrow your eyes at me!" You hissed, standing up and placing your hands on your hips, glaring down at him. "And don't you dare even think about scolding me!"

"You're telling me not to scold you?!" The brown haired male asked angrily, raising his voice with each word. "Hell, Y/N, from what you did, I would definitely do more than scold you." He snapped back, the bantered word taunting and mocking as it rolled off his tongue.

"Tch... cut the crap, Toby Rogers." You sneered, swinging yourself down from the tree and landing a few feet in front of said male.

Toby twitched and cracked his neck, his eyes beginning to narrow and his body beginning to tense up at the sound of his full name.

His full, human name.

"How did you get my full name." He growled, taking a step towards you.

You crossed your arms over your chest, staring at him with reflected anger. "You're not Slendy's only proxy, you know." You retorted, glaring daggers at him. "And might I add, not his favorite."

Toby's hand crawled towards his right hatchet, his twitching increasing.

"Why'd you just run out like that." He deadpanned, his brown eyes boring into you own (E/C) orbs. "Everyone seemed to know what was going on." His left arm twitched. "Except me."

"Cause your stupid and dense."

He was so fast, you didn't even process what was happening until you were pinned to a tree with a hatchet to your neck.

"Why. Are. You. Acting. Weird." Toby demanded, gritting his teeth and moving the blade closer to your exposed neck.

You grunted and shoved your hand into your jacket pocket, feeling around for your spare knife.

"You should never underestimate your fellow proxies, Ticci Toby." You dodged his question entirely and your hand shot up, stabbing him in the shoulder with the five inch knife, burying it almost hilt deep.

Knowing that it wouldn't hurt him, but knowing it would startle him long enough for you to get away, you immediately shot off into the woods, taking the shortcut back to Slender Mansion.

Toby groaned and yanked the knife out, blood pooling onto the ground and soaking up his jacket.

Sticking your forgotten knife into his pocket, he lifted up his head and stared in the direction you ran off to forlornly. "I let her get away..." He sunk down to his knees and placed his palms on the ground. "Again."

He yelled in frustration and hurtled his older hatchet at the nearest tree, burying it almost halfway through the thick bark.

The brown eyed male pushed up his orange goggles to his hair line before staring up at the gray sky. "Hmph." He muttered, picking himself off the ground. "Rather befitting weather for today."

Toby flexed his shoulder a few times before walking over to wrench the hatchet out of the tree.

"Did you find her?"

The male in question jumped, clearly startled, as a person materialized in front of him.

"Oh. What do you want, Masky." He grumbled half heartedly, sidestepping said male to reach for his hatchet.

The mask wearing proxy merely mirrored Toby's movements, effectively blocking him. "You are not getting your hatchet just yet. You're going to tell me what happened."

"Why do you care?" Toby snapped, trying to reach behind his fellow proxy to retrieve his weapon.

Masky frowned and intervened yet again. "Because, believe it or not, I do have feelings and care for the well being of my fellow proxies."

"Slenderman sent you."

"And it's not particularly pleasant when Y/N gets mad. She starts making blood infused waffles and expects everyone to eat them."

"Don't knock it till you try it."
