"Oi, are you feeling ok? Why are you actually helping me?"Masky shrugged.
"I swear if you say Slender-"
The brown haired male groaned. "I apparently can't be nice to arrogant jerks. I'll keep that in mind." He turned to walk away.
Toby shrugged. "If you're trying to guilt trip me, I assure you, it's not gonna do anything but make me actually trip you."
Masky kept walking and didn't look back.
-----------
You kept running, occasionally looking back to make sure that Toby wasn't on your tail.
Spotting the mansion just a few yards ahead, you let the adrenaline kick in and you hurtled yourself at the door, worried that Toby was on your tail.
Barreling into the hallway, you ran straight upstairs and into your room, ignoring the surprised shouts and yells from your loud and unexpected entrance.
You slammed the door, telling everyone you were home, and flopped down on your bed face down, waiting for the waterworks to come. Except they never came.
All that you felt was dread and regret.
Regret from what you did and said to Toby and dread to how you're going to face him.
A few moments later, you heard soft knocking on your door. "Big sis?" A small, girly voice asked from the other side of the door. "Are you ok?"
You groaned and rolled over, burying your face into the comforter. "No, big sis is not ok."
There was silence and quiet footsteps receding from your door.
Looking up, you stared at the gray door, as if it would give you the answers to your problems.
It didn't.
Burying your face back into your pillow, you just laid there. Unmoving, and mind blank.
"Y/N?" Another feminine voice resonated through the door, just as soft as the first yet more mature. "N/N? It's me. And Sally. Can we come in?" Not waiting for your response, the older girl opened your door and let Sally walk in first before coming in herself and closing the door quietly.
"Me who?" You moped, making no effort to remove your face from the plush sheets.
"Me. Jane the Killer. And Play With Me Sally." There was some muffled mumbling. "And Charlie the bear is here too." Jane responded, walking over to your bed while holding the little girl's hand. The three sat on your bed and you finally flipped yourself right side up and sat up. But not before grabbing a pillow and stuffing your face in it.
Sally frowned. "What's wrong, big sis?" She asked, leaning over to attempt to pry the pillow off your face.
"Mmmmphhhffff."
"That's not a proper answer." The green eyed girl huffed, poking you.
"Aw, Sally. Your big sis is probably just suffering from heartbreak." Jane smiled and ruffled the little girl's hair.
"Nooooo. Don't say it out loud!" You moaned, falling back and clutching the pillow tighter to your body.
Sally furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "Whaddya mean she's suffering from heartbreak?" She asked, crossing her arms. "If her heart was really broken, she'd probably be dead now!"
"No, honey." The black haired female said, turning to look at the younger killer. "This heartbreak is when either you love someone but they don't love you back, or two people like each other but there's a misunderstanding and they both get their hearts broken." She paused. "Metaphorically of course."
The brunette frowned. "Well if someone is making N/N feel like that, why doesn't she just kill him? I mean, she doesn't have a problem killing anyone else for no reason." She looked at you, who was still unmoving yet listening intently to what your fellow female killers had to say. "I mean, that's what I would've done." She turned to you and her face lit up. "N/N! N/N! I found a solution! You can just kill the guy that's making you feel icky and then rip out his heart!" Sally's green eyes brightened and smiled widely. "Literally!"
You sat up. "That's actually not a bad idea." You mumbled, still hugging the pillow.
Jane groaned, closing her pitch black eyes and facepalming. "Yeah, it isn't a bad idea." She said, directing her attention to you. "Except the fact that you can't kill him and you can't steal his heart." She paused and a smirk played on her black lips. "Although... I have the feeling you already have."
Immediately putting up your defenses, you let go of the pillow and crossed your arms. "What do you mean I already have? You know what he did! Jane, you saw him!"
Said girl didn't flinch and held your gaze. "Heartbreak is when two people like each other but there's a misunderstanding and they both get their hearts broken."
"Yes, you've said that." You responded irritatedly, your patience wearing thin very fast.
"Why can't N/N kill the guy that's making her icky?" Sally wondered aloud, before pulling up her stuffed bear to eye level with her. "Do you know, Charlie?" She swayed the bear from side to side and looked at him, hoping to get an answer.
"Y/N, listen to me!" Jane said, grabbing your shoulders and shaking them back and forth. "Listen to what I am saying! Heartbreak is when two people like each other, a lot, but there's some kind of misunderstanding and they both get their hearts broken!" She shook you some more and looked at you, he pitch black eyes boring into your (E/C) ones. The two of you fell silent.
"You like big brother?" Sally suddenly asked, staring at Charlie, yet talking to you.
"W-what?" You asked, blinking rapidly, turning to Sally.
"You like Toby!" The girl squealed, jumping up and down on the bed. "He likes you too, big sis! Are you gonna go kill together and get married and have a bunch of babies?!"
Your eyes widened as a blush painted your face red. "N-No! Of course not! Sally! Where did you get that impression from?!"
Jane snorted and gave you a meaningful look. "Yep. They're gonna have a lot of babies, Sal."
If it was possible, your face got pinker.
"J-Jane! Don't encourage-"
"Oi!" There was a loud pounding at your door and the three of you simutaneously looked at said piece of wood. "What the hell is going on in there?! I feel like my ears are gonna bleed!" A masculine, but very whiny, voice shouted from the other side of the wall.
"Leave us alone, Jeff!" Jane shouted back, rolling her eyes (or at least that's what you thought she was trying to do).
There was a pause and a loud thump.
One second later, the door broke down from its hinges and landed with a loud smack.
"No can do, Jane." Jeff sneered, his ever-present smile on his face. "Now get the hell out. I need to talk to Mrs. Rogers over here."
You gawked at him, while Sally and Jane were spitting insults at him.
"You can't tell us what to do, you old fart!" Sally scowled and walked up to Jeff, putting her hands on her hips sassily.
"What are you gonna do? Whack me to death with Charlie?" The black haired male taunted, leveling his face with hers.
"Yep!" The brunette smiled and proceeded to hit Jeff into oblivion with her stuffed bear.
"Ow! What the-! Sally! That- OW! Actually hurts!" He ran around the room, cursing out the little girl, who merely laughed and continued to chase him around the bedroom.
