Chapter 12 - Our First Date, Ruined.

Alex's POV-

As it was getting late in the evening I was getting worried.

What was I gonna wear, how is she gonna react to the place I'm taking her. I didn't even know what to wear. I said to myself.

"bro, your acting like a chick. Leon said.

"Well what do you think I should do then smart ass?" I asked

"Well I'm going to help you my dear brother. Leon said looking at my clothes.

Nicole's POV-

I look around frantically at what I should wear i was freaking out! i had nothing to wear at all!

I screamed "Aghhh! Rosalie!

"Whaaaat?" she said

"Help me pick out something to wear please. I begged.

"Fine. she said.

Alex's POV-

"Not bad bro, not bad. I mumbled.

Yep, my brother picked out a tux for me, I know it sounds weird but it maybe the too much but the place were I'm taking Nicole is fancy, and I want it to be just right.

I texted Nicole letting her know when imma be there.

A: Be there soon love you.

I smiled at the thought..saying I love you to Nicole, never thought it would happen.

Nicole's POV-

Rosalie smiled at me what was she thinking?

"Before I say anything else, I have to say Nicole you look beautiful.

Yes, I know what you are thinking I must be wearing some kind of prom dress, well no I wasn't. All I'm wearing is a blue lace dress that goes to my knees and some black heels with my hair curled.

I have no idea why Rose was making a big deal about it.

"Rose, its just - I was cut off.

"Shut up and take the compliment. She says being a diva.

I looked down at my phone it was a text from Alex.

"Be there soon love you.

My stomach got butterflies. I smiled and blush and texted back.

Alex's POV-

As I through on my shoes my mom comes down stairs.

"Where are you going honey?" she asks.

"Taking Nicole out. I say answering her question.

She looks at me. "Honey, I knew you loved her I just knew you did, I'm happy for you I really am.

I smile "Thanks mom." and walk out the door.

I text Nicole

A: Be there less than 5 minutes be ready.

As I put down my phone I stop at the stop sign then proceed but as proceed I see lights coming towards me the light seemed to be approaching faster and faster until.

BAAM! everything seemed to be getting dark around me, my ears were ringing...

What just happened?

Nicole's POV-

Its been 20 minutes since Alex last texted me i'm getting worried. Maybe I should go to his house..

No.. then I'll seem desperate.. but then i again i need to know where he is..

I grabbed my mom's keys to her car and start heading to Alex's house, I pull out my phone and call Alex's mom Ana.

Ana: hello? who is this?

Nicole: Hi Mrs. Long I don't mean to disturb you but have you heard from Alex ? its been 20 minutes since i last heard from him.

Ana: No, sorry hun I'll call him and see if he answers.

Nicole: Thank you.

Ana: Your welcome honey.

As I try taking a turn on a street I see lights..Ambulance and Cop car lights..

As i look around a see a Two flipped cars. wow what happened here?

As I try driving around I notice something...A guy with black hair and a tux.. but there something about this guy he looked just like Alex..that it made me wonder.

I pulled over I just had too as I walk up to the gurney with the gentleman on it a police officer guarding the truck stopped me.

"Ma'am you cant come near here unless your -

As I look at the young man... I realized....my heart dropped.. it was Alex

"ALEEXX! NO! NO! PLEASE NO! I screamed

"Ma'am please calm down who are you? are you family? the officer asked

"N-No I-I'm his girlfriend. I stuttered.

"Okay. he mumbled.

"Hey! Jim! Let her on she's knows the victim. the officer says.

"Thank you. I say wiping my tears.

"Your welcome Ma'am, Now go on. He says with a sad smile.

As I climb on the back of the truck I noticed Alex's face it was all scratched up so was his arms. he looked so lifeless. I grabbed his hand.

"Alex, baby please stay with me..stay with us... your family..we need you I need you. I love you..

I started to cry, All I was thinking was for him to live.. I just wanted him to tell me everything was gonna be okay..

All of a sudden the grip on my hand tightened.

"You look beautiful tonight.." Someone muttered.

I looked over to see Alex trying to smiling at me.

I ain't going anywhere. he smiled with pain in his eyes.

"Alex I'm so sorry this happened." I said wiping my tears.

"Don't be everything happens for a reason and don't cry for me then your gonna make me cry. He said trying not to show the pain

I sigh "I'm going to be here with you through this whole thing. I promise.

"I love you Nicole, You don't have to this. He winced.

"When your truly.. in love with someone.. its worth it. I state sadly.

And as of that our first date was ruined.. I wish this never happened.
