Chapter 19. The Unexpected Happens

Nicoles POV-

-Three weeks later.

After Alex and I spent the weekend together I had to go to the Hospital due to me not feeling good. Learned that I had a Virus. Doctors were shocked that I didn't give it to Alex, but figured I contracted it when I was at the Hospital with Alex. Yet Im still feeling the same just more Tired and Emotionally and Physically drained. After all that I was still juggling school. I spent the weekend at home surprisingly and now its a Monday and I have to go to school.

When I arrived Claire was waiting for me.

"So.. You and Alex did you?" She asked

"Yeah, we did..." I said trailing off

"Oh, look here comes your prince charming now. She smirks

"Shut up." I said being annoyed.

Alex walked over and all three of us talked until it was time to go to are first class.

"So, Nicole I was thinking we could double date. Claire said

Alex look liked he wanted to double date so I agreed.

"Sure, No problem when?" I asked

"Friday Night at 7:00" she answered

"Alright" I said

It was almost time to walk down to first period so Alex, Claire and I walked down until we had to go our separate ways.

We all separated eventually but everything around me suddenly was oblivious and mumbles from other people.

I was walking and felt dizzy accidentally running into people getting bad looks and "what the hell's" from people.

At this time I felt like I was gonna pass out and I knew I was gonna pass out I was determined to make it to my class, cause at least there was an adult.

But everything began to turn hazy and everything a blur, darkness surrounding me. I just fainted.

I had woken up, I was in the nurses office.

"Oh, I see you have woken up, Good." The nurse said nicely

"So I'm guessing I passed out huh?" I mumbled

"Yes, you did, were gonna send you home. I suggest you make a trip to the doctors office as soon as possible." She said cautiously

"Alright." I said getting up

"By the way your friend is out there waiting for you hun." She said smiling

"Oh, uh thank you." I smiled politely

"Mhm" she mumbled

Claire was waiting for me outside with a serious look on her face.

"Were going to the doctors, Now." She said already walking to the doors

"Claire, I'm fine seriously." I said tiredly

"Dammit Nicole, No your not! You fainted, and to me that's not normal, were taking you today and now. Lets go."

"Fine.." I mumbled

When we went to doctors we had checked in and waiting for them to call my name.

"Nicole Young." A nurse called

I gave a reassuring look to Claire.

"You've done enough, stay here I've got this. I said

She smiled and moved her hands shooing me away to go to the nurse.

When I finally got back the nurse asked me a couple a questions like "How much did I weigh?" or "Did I have any pain?"

It finally got personal when the doctor came in.

"So Nicole, when was the last time you had sexual intercourse?"

"I - uh, like probably three weeks ago?" I said nervously.

"Okay Good, what are your symptoms?" She asked

"Headaches, dizziness, nausea, uh thats all I can think of at the moment." I said

"Okay, well Nicole I think were dealing with something serious but Im not sure yet, but from what your saying it sounds like you are."

"Whats wrong?" I said worryingly

She sighed

"I think your pregnant." She said

"I - I'm sorry what?" I said stunned

"Nicole, I know this sounds a little different right now but imma give a test to take in the bathroom."

"If you will, I would appreciate it if you take the test so we know for sure." She said.

She pulled out a Pregnancy Test for me to take.

I nervously got up and took the test.

2 minutes later-

I was now pacing in the bathroom, Me? Pregnant? What if I was? What was I gonna tell Alex..?

The box said it takes 3 minutes for the results to come back.

I tapped my foot looking at the test Impatiently.

Finally the results came back.

I looked down at the test ready to shed out tears for days.

It came back Positive.
