Chapter 6 - Whats happening with me?

- Alex's POV -

After the little chat with my brother i decided to text Nicole on how everything went

A: talk went okay he wont do it again i explained what a little to far meant.

N: same, she took it okay. I think she understands what making out with a boy and kissing is now lol.

A: yeah, you wanna hear something weird?

N: sure. what's up ?

A: Leon said he loved your sister just like i love you.

N: where did he get that idea from o.o ? trust me I'm pretty sure you don't like me.

A: I asked the same thing but who knows there 13 they don't really know what "love" is.

N: yeah, i guess you can say that...oh yeah by the way you can walk with me tomorrow so we can get straight to that project. the faster we get this done, the less time i have to spend with you -___-

A: Agreed, oh Nicole i have too tell you something.

N: what's that?

A: i hate you.

N: i hate you too ass wipe night! cx

I looked at the time "wow 8:23 p.m." as i got up from my bed i heard a knock at my door.

"come in" i said it was my mom.

"hey hun watcha doin." she asked.

Nothing bout to take a shower. "i said." she looked like she was about to cry.

"oh hun, you remind me so much of your father." she stated sadly.

i gave her a hug, my mom hasn't been the same after my dad's death. she misses him so much.

I guess your wondering what happened, my dad had heart disease. I knew one day he would pass. So every moment even the littlest things we would do like watch a movie together or fix up the car i cherished. Cause  I knew one day my dad wasn't gonna be here in this world.

I sighed "mom, i love you. i miss him too alot.."

she looked at me "in 2 days will be the anniversary of his death."

I muttered sadly "October 18th.."

I told my mom it was gonna be okay and hugged her. i don't know what I'm gonna do... when October 18th arrives..

As i got out the shower i get prepared to go to bed i finally get dressed and let my dreams consume me.

I wake up with someone at the side of my bed. i notice its Nicole. i try not to move and kick her off the bed.

"Ow you jerk!" she yells.

"No enemies aloud on my bed, now tell this how did you get in here?" i asked.

" your mommy, she really nice. she even offered me breakfast." she smiled.

god i loved her smile...everything about her is perfect i could..- AWWWH GROSS WHAT WAS I THINKING.

"Uhh alex ? hellurr.? earth to ass wipe?" she says.

"oh yeah sorry i was thinking." i say.

"well hurry up we've gotta go." she yells walking outta my room.

As i walk down stairs i notice Nicole and my mom looking through a book of what it seems to be my.. Baby photos!

she giggles "aww Alex you were so adorable!"

"Oh whatever.." i mumble.

She turns the next page.. oh no it had a picture of my mom and dad.

"Wow! Mrs. Long you look stunning in this picture! but who's the guy?" she asks.

My mom looks up sadly. "That's my husband hun.."

"Oh were is he?" she asks.

I forgot i never told her about my dad.

my looks at me then Nicole "He's in the place were the angels fly."

Nicole looks down then at my mom and me. "Oh I'm sorry you guys i didn't know.."

I look at her with a sad smile. "its okay you didn't know."

As Nicole says bye to my mom i put my shoes on then ask her if she's ready she agrees and i wave to my mom goodbye. then we walk out the door.

As we walk to school Nicole looks at me.

"I'm sorry about your dad Alex."

i look away. "I told you its alright now can you  drop it?"

"uh yeah sure.." she mumbles.

As we get to school Nicole and I go our separate ways. but then i hear my friend jack come behind me.

"Hey man what's up you look mad?" he says.

I look at him "Nah I'm alright just uhh got some crap from a teacher about not doing homework."

He looks at me "Oh that sucks, hey we should meet up after school."

I look at him remembering i have to do the project with Nicole "Aw man i cant i have to go to Nicole's house this afternoon she's helping me with a project."

He looks at me "Sure a project.. use protection bro." winks then walk away

After school got out i waited for Nicole. she finally came outta the building.

"Took you forever." i said.

"Well I'm sorry okay? i had to talk with the teacher.

As we were walking she had a smirk on her face.

"what? i ask.

She looks at me and says "isn't it crazy my little sister likes your little brother but we absolutely hate each other?"

"yeah, it is..". i say

"Nicole look, i don't hate you. well at least not alot."

"Geez, thanks Alex that's the nicest thing you ever said to me." she smiles.

their goes that smile again..god i love her so much...

Then all of sudden i kissed my enemy...

She looks at me like I'm crazy. "ALEX , WHAT THE FUCK DUDE YOU JUST KISSED ME?!"

I look at her.." i know..."

She looks at me still in shock. "look Alex.. imma go..i need some time alone."

and like that i was alone standing there thinking...i just ruined everything.
