Ford gave me my own bedroom. I didn't want to sit in there though, I wanted to be with the other Elite members because this is fucking awesome.

"Hey Alec." Nick said scooting over so I could plop down on the couch next to him. We were all content watching football and eating pizza, except for when Garrett got upset because he only got three pieces and I ate six. Then Ford came in.

"There are somethings we need to discuss, Keon, get out of my chair. Keon frowned but got out and squeezed himself between me and Nick, much to our dismay. "First of all, Alec, I need you to tell me your middle and last name." He said. "It's Lyric and Felicia." I told him. "Your name is Alecia Felicia?" Grayson asked, chuckling. "I know! It's awful, that's why I go by Alec instead." I groaned.

I saw Ford crack a smile. "Do you go to school?" Ford asked. "No." I replied simply. "How old are you anyway? 15?" Nick asked. "16 actually." I corrected. "Well, we will get you registered-" Ford began. "Ugh. I have to?" I groaned. "Yes." Ford said ruffly that told me not to even bother trying to change his mind. "Now we need to figure out what we are going to have your name be to the public." Ford said. "Was about minx?" Nick suggested. All the guys murmured in agreement. "Alright but I don't think that the people at school should recognize me and Minx." I said, and Ford reached behind him and threw some black clothes at me. I caught them and ran to the bathroom to try them on.

It was a tight black long sleeve shirt and black leggings, to make it easier to move around. There was also a tight, leather, black jacket. It had a good so I pulled it up, that covered my face pretty well. I took the hood back down and tied my hair so when I pulled the hood back up you could only see the platinum blonde and not the red.

I slipped on the black converse boots and walked back out. "Nice." I told Ford. "Good, 'cause you all got a mission." Ford said, stood up, threw a folder on the table and left. Keon picked it up.

"Well Alec, you got a pretty hard first round on your hands." He said I took it from him.

We all stood in front of the building staring up at the giant machine in progress. "What are the chances we will be able to turn that doomsday device off?" I asked. "Slim, about a five percent chance at the most." Garrett told me. "And our chances of survival?" I asked, "one percent." Garrett said gulping. "Fantastic." I muttered and walked into the building.

"The whole world is asking: who is this girl who joined the Elite? Possibly a girlfriend of one of the guys? Here, you will get the answer as I have an interview with the mysterious girl." The lady from the news channel told the camera then turned to me.

I am in full costume and everything, of course. I didn't want this interview but the guys forced me into it. Just this one and I'm done, they promised.

"So, we all want to know, what is your name?" The lady asked. "I go by Minx." I said smiling. "What exactly lead to you joining the Elite?" She asked, her voice told me she wanted some juicy gossip. I don't like gossip. "I met Aurum in a coffee shop." I said simply. "Are you dating Aurum now?" She asked. "Ew, no." I said, why does everyone think that. "Too old? How about Steel? He's about your age." The lady said. "Yes, but still no." I told her firmly. "What does it feel like to be one of the only girls in your field of work?" She asked. "I don't mind at all, It didn't even cross my mind." I told her. Just tell me some secrets! She thought. "Do you think that maybe the villains are taking it easy on you since your a girl?" She asked, the interview dragged on. It seemed longer than it should have been because she asked so many sexist questions. I replied to them either truthfully to shut her down or with a lot of sarcasm.

"If you ever force me into another one of those I will shoot you in the thigh." I threatened as I came out to the guys waiting. As we walked down the street people were crowding around us taking pictures and asking for autographs. I don't like all this attention, it's too much.

I laid down on the couch. "Why is walking down the street worse than fighting the bad guys?" I groaned. None of them answered. I don't think they liked it either, well, Nick might. He gave out a lot of autographs. I gave out none.

"When do I go to school?" I asked, "tomorrow." Ford said walking into the room. I groaned.
