Rhett's POV

"What happened to him?" Mr. F asked as I dragged his brother in to our base. "Why'd you send him to kill Alec?" I asked. "You answer my question first." Mr. F said fiercely, waving his dagger threateningly in my face. "Alec knocked him out after he tried to kill her. She took his knives and took a picture then left." I explained, dodging the flying dagger. "Alec who? Alecia Felicia?" Mr. F asked, I nodded. "How'd you-" I began but decided it'd be better to just keep my question to myself.

Mr. F began to kick his brother repeatedly in the guts until he woke up. "You failed, Martin." Mr. F said simply as Martin scrambled to his feet. "He warned her." Martin said pointing to me. "Why are you trying to kill her? She didn't do anything!" I protested. "That's classified information your trying to dig into Carpenter." Mr. F warned me. I nodded and walked away.

I turned the corner and pressed my back against the wall to listen to their conversation. "Well, she is pretty dang powerful, what if we kidnap her instead?" Martin suggested, they were quiet for a while then Mr. F spoke. "That won't work. She'll kick both our asses. We need to get her to come to us. Kidnap a couple people." Mr. F said, I was shocked at what he said. Mr. F never said that anyone was more powerful than him, probably because no one was. "How will that bring her here?" Martin snorted. "Well she's a hero, ain't she?"

Alec's POV

I ripped the new missing poster off the glass door. "10th person this week." The clerk said, shaking his head. "Do you think someone's trying to make a point?" I asked setting the young girls missing poster down. "I think The Wild Ones are behind it." He said "I'm wondering why the Elite haven't acted yet. People- families- will get mad soon. Demanding their daughters, sons, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, be returned to them." He said, I nodded in agreement and set off with my bags. "Watch yourself." He warned. "You too."

I stormed into headquarters and set the bags down loudly causing the Elite members to look up at me. "Why aren't we looking for the missing people?" I asked. They were quiet. "Because, something is off about these kidnappings. I can't send my men off to face the unknown." Ford said walking in. "So?" I asked. "So, none of you are going to find any of them." Ford said fiercely. "Are we not heroes? This is our job, I'm not standing around." I said heading back out. "What are you doing?" Nick called, "I'm going to fin them." I said opening the door. "You don't even know where they are!" Garrett protested. I threw my hood up. "I'll find them."
