the word is bitter on my tongue
it's always said in the middle of battle
i'm doing this because i love you
you know nothing of love
love is not screaming and tearing down
love is not trying to make the person different
love is when you accept people for everything they are
when you try to change everything they do, you are not in love
so don't try to trick me by crying out to me
i love you has been said too many times before
it's lost all meaning
i want love to be shown
in the way you look at me
in the things you do
show me you love me
convince me you aren't just going to use the word as a weapon
no more weapons
just us.
