Like how the pear shaped organ being vital to keep a human alive, the heart meant in the Quran keeps a believer alive.
"Have they not traveled in the land, and have they hearts where with to feel and ears wherewith to hear ? For indeed it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts, which are within the bosoms, that grow blind. (22:46)

When the heart have trusted enough,
the body bear the pain, unconditionally
But there's the limits where's it feels unbearable, surely.
