You know, the times when you give so much pressure to someone, it tend to stimulate the amygdala.
.Those pressures, especially a repeated one turned out to be an emotionally overwhelmed experiences, consequently being a difficult memories.
Difficult to handle, sometimes overflowing, comes with flashback where it still hurts.
.Yes it is good to advice people to let things go and simply forgive, simply forget, unconditionally.
But it wasn't easy for every case, as not all wounds are the same, and the pain threshold for everyone is different.
Thus you have to understand and give some spaces rather than keep on pushing them to act 'normal' when the damage is there. At least acknowledge the person's feelings and experiences rather than telling them they are just ego or hard headed.
.Forgiveness comes naturally, as well as emotional trauma, it may ends when the time comes. Just be patient :)
