You are human.
You have a soul,
a mind,
a beating heart,
and distinct smile.You are human.
You are not hairy,
you are human. But you do have hair,
hair that's strong
and lovely;
it was made
to match your skin
and frame your face.I think it does its job just fine.
You are human.
You are not fat,
you are human. But you do have fat,
fat that is meant to
make you strong,
not weak -
your fat is important
to your body,
you know. You shouldn't get rid of so much of it.
You are human.
You are not skin and bones,
you are human. But you do have skin and bones,
skin and bones that hold
your body together -
your skin protects your body
and your bones help you sit and stand.I don't see what's so wrong about that.
You are human.
You have fingers
and fingernails,
you have toes
and toenails,
you have elbows
and knees,
ears and a nose.Everyone does.
But you aren't fingers
nor fingernails, are you?
You're not toes
nor are you toenails.
You have elbows and knees,
but that doesn't make you
an elbow or a knee,
either, does it?That'd be silly.
You are human.
You have hair and fat,
skin and bones,
fingers and fingernails,
eyebrows and toes,
but those don't define who you are,
nor should they ever.Everyone has them;
their own little quirks and bumps -
like your own features or not,
but you are human
and you should embrace them,
embrace yourself.You are human,
your own proper human -
there won't be anyone else like you.
No one can ever have the exact same smile,
the same laugh, the same habits,
the same cough, nor the same likes. You are human
and that's beautiful.
