It was your first day at Liberty High. You had recently moved because your parents got a divorce and were forced to live with your father.
You walking around, looking for your locker, which was becoming an all too difficult task. Getting caught up in amongst the chaos that is called a corridor, you couldn't see where you were going. Instead of paying attention to where you were walking, you carried on looking for your locker, which caused you to bump into someone.
When you bumped into them, you dropped the coffee you were holding, some of it going on their clothes.
"Omg, I'm so sorry." You said, trying to find something to wipe the coffee of this strangers shirt.
"It's fine." You heard a male voice laugh.
You looked up to see a really tall, good looking jock. You suddenly became more nervous and started blushing. You were a sucker for a jock.
"Hey, aren't you the new girl?" He asked after a few moments of silence.
Too nervous to speak, you just nodded, not really looking up.
"There's no need to be shy. I'm Zach." He smiled.
"Y/N." You blushed.
"Y/N. That's a pretty name." He winked.
You couldn't stop blushing. Why'd you have to bump into a hot jock?
"Don't worry Y/N, I'll show you around. Do you know what classes you have?" He asked, looking at you as you got your timetable out.
You passed him your timetable. After he'd looked it over, he smiled.
"Looks like you're stuck with me." He joked. "You have the same classes as me." He explained.
You smiled, knowing you'd have Zach to help you out.
Zach was so sweet. He walked with you to classes, let you sit with him in lessons. He even introduced you to his friends. He also gave you his number, just in case you needed help with anything.
After a few weeks, you and Zach had grown really close.
You'd been round his house a few times. You met his mum and sister, who both said you and Zach were cute together, which you had to explain you were just friends. Zach had met your dad, who wasn't as nice to him as Zach's family was to you. Your dad basically interrogated him as soon as he walked through the door.
Now, almost every Friday, you'd go round Zach's and have a movie night. You'd stay round his for the night, sit in his room and watch movies all night until you fell asleep, most of the time in his arms.
Everyone thought you were together, but in reality, you were just close friends. Although you did like him, but you were certain he just saw you as a friend.
You were glad you met Zach on your first day of school. He had made you feel so welcome.
