I walked down my staircase to see him standing there, his perfectly tailored suit to fit his body. The way the fabric held closely to his body, the way his shoes made him look so sharp. I had to prevent myself from dropping my own jaw.

"Hello Jiyeon" Sehun smiled as he took my hand in his own "You look beautiful tonight"

"Thank you oppa" I said shyly as I looked down at my sparkling red heels

"Shall we go? Abeonim and Eommonim have already left"

"Alright then, let the night begin" I giggled slightly as I followed him out of my house and into his Mercedes

Our parents have been business partners for the longest time and I can't deny that he's always been close to me

We often see each other in school but we rarely talk. The only people who know about our out of school relationship is Hyunae, Baekhyun, Junmyeon and Yixing and the only reason they know is because their families also work with my parents

Tonight we are attending a gala for some other company that helped my father's business develop or something

Mr. and Mrs. Oh had planned with my parents for Sehun to be my date. I heard that Hyunae and Baekhyun were to go together too while Junmyeon and Yixing brought their own dates

"We're here" Sehun said, stopping the car and getting out before helping me out of my side

"Thank you oppa" I said softly

He passed the keys to one of the valet jockeys before resting his hand at the small of my back and guiding me into the large ballroom

"I wasn't prepared for an event this big" I said shyly as I clung onto Sehun even more

"Come on Jiyeon, remember your father's birthday last year? It was much bigger than this" Sehun chuckled as he looked for our designated table

"But that was 7 months ago! I haven't been to another gala for that long" I said sheepishly as I wrapped my hand around his, walking to our table

"Don't worry about it, I'm here and Hyunae will join us later"

"With Baekhyun?" I asked softly, receiving a nod "What about Junmyeon and Yixing?"

"They're flying back from China after that big deal so they'll join us for the after party" Sehun said before taking a sip of his water

"Ahh, I see" I smiled softly as I fiddled with my fingers

"You're a little quiet this evening, how come?" He asked softly, taking my hands and massaging them softly

I chucked shyly as I looked down at our hands "School has been a little frustrating recently, I guess?"

"So Baekhyun has been ignoring you more than usual?" He chuckled before getting slapped on the arm.

Yes, he knows about my small 'flame' for Baekhyun. But he's the ONLY person that knows. Not even Hyunae.

Yes, I know I said that I have gotten over that but I really can't help it. Recently, he's been growing on me more than before. It just slipped out in front of Sehun

"What??? It's true though right?" He asked, laughing

"Well.... Baekhyun and Hyunae been getting closer and closer that's all. I feel a little excluded every now and then but it's alright" I explained

"Well you know that I'm always in the dance room with my friends, you can join us anytime. I still remember your secret passion" he teased as he poked at my stomach

"Oppa you promised not to tell anyone" I pouted slightly as I folded my arms together

"Well, at least you're more lively now" Sehun smiled contently before standing up and fixing his suit.

He reached out a hand as the other stayed behind his back "Care for a dance?" He asked, bowing down slightly

I laughed as I took his hand and curtsied "I'd love to" I laughed before we made our way to the small dance area

I laughed as we returned to our seats after 3 dances on the dance floor

"You still got it" Sehun joked as he took a seat, smiling to himself as he looked down and bit his lip slightly

"Don't compliment me expecting a praise Oh Sehun, I know how to play your little games" I laughed as I took a sip of water, standing up and pulling down my dress slightly before making my way to the buffet table

"Why did you leave without me~" Sehun whined cutely as he put one hand around my waist, the other started to take some food, his plate piling up within seconds

"Because I knew you would do just that" I laughed slightly as I served him some vegetables

"You know I don't like peas" He claimed bitterly

"You need to learn how to eat them" I smiled before walking back to our table

"Look who joined the party" Sehun chuckled as he set his plate down before pulling my chair back slightly

"Free food, how could I not?" Hyunae and Baekhyun managed to say simultaneously before bursting into laughter

I eyed Sehun cautiously before slowly starting to eat, keeping to myself mostly

This is going to be a long, long night

I thought to myself
