The event was in full swing, paparazzi's taking pictures as people walked in. The party had everything, from waiters serving entrees and champagne to models with Olivia's designs on a catwalk. Isabelle was in awe at the site, she didn't expect for it to be this huge blowout but then again, Olivia did like to celebrate big."Well, I'm at a lose for words. She out did herself this time." Alexander said looking at the models walking down the runway. "It is Liv that we're talking about, when haven't she gone big. Last week, she got a call about winning some tickets for a cruise, that same night we were at a club throwing back shots and dancing like animals." Isabelle responded looking around for Olivia.
Meanwhile, back at a condo located in the heart of L.A., Olivia was looking at a dress she had just designed for the biggest show of her life. Adam was standing at the door watching her in admiration, he knew from the first moment Izzy and Alex introduced them that she was the one. They have been dating for five months now, and he was anxious to propose to the love of his life. Olivia looked at him through the mirror, " Does this dress make me look fat? " she asked turning around lifting her arms.
He smiled looking her up and down, " You look perfect, beautiful even. " She rolled her eyes putting on her shoes, " No one is perfect Adam." She grabbed her bag and walked out the room with him trailing behind. Running late to her own event, her two best friends were making acquaintances with the guest at the party. " I would have to say that her inspiration would be me, I mean look at me, I am beautiful and I have style." Before Isabelle could finish, Alex came over and dragged her away, "This is not about you, this is about Olivia." He say pulling her to the buffet table.
Cameras started to go crazy as Olivia and Adam made their way to the door, "I can't believe you changed twice, you looked fine in the red dress babe. " Adam said as he smiled at the cameras and the guest that begin to speak. "That's the problem, Fine isn't good enough, I need amazing." She said looking for her ride or die best friend, Izzy. As she walked away, Alex was busy looking for his wife, whom he had lost on the way to the buffet table. Not to mention she has a little too much to drink. Olivia patted Alex on the shoulder as she looked through the crowd of people.
"Have you seen Izzy?" "I haven't seen her since I got in." She asked grabbing a glass from the waiter walking past. "Well, see the thing is...I lost her after she had five glasses of champagne." He replied scratching his head scared of what the now upset looking Olivia would say. "How the HELL did you lose you wife Alexander Harper!" She yelled drowning back the rest of her drink. He loosened his tie a little while wiping his forehead. "Well, she's small so it's not that hard. Don't judge me, this is the first time this has happened." Olivia looked at him crossing her arms and raising a brow. "You must have forgotten the time we went to Hawaii for New Years." She reminded him as she grabbed another flute of champagne.
Alex scratched his nose thinking of the vacation in Hawaii. "And in Barbados, and let's not forget your wedding in Paris." Before Olivia could finish list the times he had forgotten, Alex stopped her and walked away looking for his wife who was on the dance floor having the time of her life.
Olivia stood next to Alex, smiling at her best friend clapping. "Oh god, take her home before she embarrasses herself more than she already have." Alex nodded his head as he turned around and looked at her. "Yeah, that might be the best thing to do at this point. We had a great time. She will call you in the morning when she is sober and hungover. And I will see you at work Adam, bright and early. " He bid them goodbye, backing away to pick up Isabelle and walked out to the car. Adam and Olivia looked at each other laughing. "That girl really knows how to have a good time." Liv nodded her hear in agreement.
"Tell me about it, the last time this happened she decided to go out to have drinks just because I won tickets to a cruise." Adam shook his head remembering the time. "I remember that differently, I remember you called her and demanded to go out clubbing after you won the tickets." Olivia shrugged her shoulders. "Schematics." She said walking away to greet more guest. "What am I going to do with you." Adam said following after her.
