3rd Person POV~

Cherry Blossom High. The high school what everyone was talking about for miles around. It was a very well-known high school from its enchanting glow. The only reason being, the cherry blossom trees planted around the school. The trees were the star of the scenery that caught everyone's eye at first glance. Anyone who ever saw the trees were entranced by them. Many from afar would say the trees had a "magic" to them.

Audrey Wind, Leila Belinda, and Akio Hart, were all on top of the school rooftop for lunch peacefully enjoying the warm heat of summer approaching. It was the last day of school for the juniors, and everyone was planning of they were going to do over the summer at this time around. Excited to finally be out of school for the summer. No school, no teachers, no bullies, just them together.

When the school bell finally rang, the whole school went loose. Kids were running out of the school in excitement with people screaming with smiles spreading across their faces while thy ran over to their friends. Audrey, Leila, and Akio all made plans to have a small sleepover at Audrey's place.

"So, we all gonna go get the snacks?" Leila asked them both.

"Sure, I don't see why not," Audrey replied. The three of them went to the convenience store to get some snacks and drinks for the sleepover. Walking back to Audrey's house, they began to start a "pun war". They really were the best of friends, never separated and never left out.

Leila, Audrey and Akio all headed over to Audrey's house with snacks to last them all night. They got extra with Audrey having a sweet tooth. Her being a werewolf it gave her a bigger appetite than others with a special sweet tooth. They all headed up stairs and got dressed. Them being together for so long, they all had their clothes in her house. Akio wearing a white shirt with boxers, Leila being in shorts with a dark blazing red tank top, along with Audrey in a panda onesie as well while making Akio blush but quickly hiding it. After playing a couple round of some games they all quickly headed to bed.

Akio was the first to wake up of the three. As he sat up he turned over and saw Leila. Leila had horns and a tail. He screamed in terror with his eyes widening. When doing so, he ran over and shook Audrey to wake up Audrey. She got a bit irritated with someone waking her up this early but quickly getting up and got into her defensive stance and looked around to see what was happening.

"W-Where's the danger?" She yelled. Audrey looked down to see Akio shaking and crying. Audrey looked around and noticed Leila's horns and tail. She quickly ran over to her and covered Leila and looked over to Akio with a fierce look in her eyes.

"Don't you ever tell anyone what you just saw." Audrey looked down at him like she was going to kill him. Her ears straight up and tail straightened. She bent down and tried to calm down Akio, from what looked like a panic attack.

"Wha-What even was that?" Akio screamed still with his eyes covered in tears and fright. Audrey's tail and ears began to fall as her face looked sad.

"I--well, we never wanted you to find out about this--or if anything, at least like this. Leila is a demon." Audrey hesitated. Tears beginning to form in her eyes. "If you tell anyone about this, I will make you regret the day you were born." Akio nodded his while looking at Leila and back up at Audrey with a reassuring look.

Leila began to wake up barely noticing her surroundings. She looked over to her right where Audrey was standing. She noticed her ears and tail drooping, but didn't understand why. Audrey bent down and whispered something into Leila's ear. Leila's face quickly became a bright red, as she ran to the restroom. After a few minutes she came back out and was still blushing, but her horns and tail were gone.

"C-Come on, Audrey." She said as they both rushed into the restroom together. When they came out Audrey's ears and tail were gone. Like they were never there.

~Time skip cuz we lazy~

The three of them walked into a small family diner, just a few blocks from the park. The diner was a very small with about 6 tables and a small kitchen in the back. The floor was a black and white checkered tile, and the walls were a white tile. The tables were a fiery red color complementing the black and white tiles, and some chairs here and there with some booths. The three of them walked in and sat down in a booth. Audrey and Leila sitting next to each other with Audrey on the end while Akio was on the opposite side.

"What was that," Akio asked looking at Audrey and Leila. She quickly looked away from his gaze, afraid it would pierce her soul.

"You should be the one to tell him." Audrey said to Leila. Leila looked down tears about to fall from her eyes. Audrey quickly wiped them away and smile at her.

Leila looked at Akio and started to speak, "I am a demon. I am here because Audrey is my only friend. From the time I was born, I was the one to never to interact so I only talked to my teachers and my parents. I escaped with the other demons into the human world when I was 23. While exploring the human world, I was hurt by people who feared me." She began to cry. She wipes her tears and continues talking. "Audrey chased them off and helped me up. She was the only person willing to help me when I needed her. At the time she was only 6 years old. She was not told of my kind and therefore was not scared by me. I convinced my parents to let me stay here in the human world, on one condition. I was to hid my true form. Audrey felt bad that I was having to hide my form, so she hides hers like me." Akio looked down at the table.

"So, then how old are you, Leila?" He asked with a stern look.

"I am 34. We demons live for much longer than humans do, so 34 is nothing to me." Akio looked like he had seen a ghost. His face turned pale, his eyes began to widen, with complete fear carved onto his face.

He just sat there. Completely baffled by what he had just learned. As he opened his mouth to speak, wolves howled loudly in the distance. Audrey noticed instantly, and tensed up at the sound.

"I didn't think it was going to be this soon!" Screamed Audrey, as she quickly stood up. "Take off my disuse right now Leila." She didn't understand what she meant, but knew right away to do as she was told. Audrey quickly got up and ran out the dinner doors.
