A Small Trip to Hell

Leila's POV

Both my eyes fluttered open. I stared at the blank ceiling,forgetting what happened last night. My body was really warm, and strangely comfortable.

The calm melody of a heart beat filled my ears. It sounded like a steady, consistent beat. I looked over to see who I was with and It was surprisingly Lio.I had a bit panic of my surroundings calmly so I don't wake him up.

"Lio. Wake up." I spoke softly into his chest hoping he would hear me. He started opening his eyes. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I began to blush and it felt like my whole face was on fire. He removed his arms quickly and sat up. Face as bright as an apple.

"I-I'm so sorry!" He stuttered and tried to back away but only backed into the wall behind him. I laughed and his face became even more red. He put his head down and looked very embarrassed.

"It's okay, stutter king." I said while laughing. Leo's face became more red than mine. "What happened last night?" I asked looking around, noticing we were on Audrey's bed.

"W-When you started to cry last night, you ended up crying yourself to sleep. I-I felt bad and picked you up and put you in this bed. When I went to sleep on the floor, you grabbed my hand and told me not to leave. S-So I got i-in bed wi-with you. and we eventually fell asleep." He looked at me and he couldn't see I was blushing redder than he was, Thank God.

"We-Well thank you Lio." I said and smiled brightly, still knowing he couldn't see it. He looked at me in confusion. "Oh. Sorry, Lio's just a nickname. I thought it sounded good, b-but if you dont l-like it i'll s-st--"

"No. No I like it." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "So, how about breakfast?" He asked.

"Sure!" I said and took his hand in mine. As we started to head down the stairs from Audrey's bedroom I looked and saw her and Akio cuddling on the couch.

"Kawaii~!" I whisper yelled. I looked down the stars and over at the two. Akio had his arm wrapped around Audrey as if he was protecting her and Audrey had her ears and tail out cuddled against his back with a smile on her face.

"What happened?" Lio asked.

"Audrey and Akio are cuddling on the couch!" I replied back, slightly squealing. Lio just shook his head. "I'm sorry, Leila, but I'm kind of hungry." Lio looked down feeling ashamed.

"Don't worry, come on. We'll go get us some food." I dragged him down to the living room. "Wake up you love birds~." I said shaking Akio and Audrey lightly on both of themr to awake. They looked up at me then at each other and blushed. They got off each other and looked down blushing madly.

"Come on, you weirdo's. Lio and I are hungry." I said grabbing their wrists and pulling them off the couch. We all walked into the kitchen and made pancakes. Once we all had finished eating, we sat around the living room chatting.

We were all laughing and peacefully talking when I stopped. Something's not right..

"What's wrong Leila?" Lio asked looking around me. "You just suddenly stopped, and your heartbeat increased." (A/N It is a proven fact that those who have lost a sense, have others 'enhanced' as a result). I looked at him and around the room. It was deathly silent.

"Something feels off. I can't put my finger on it, but something doesn't feel right."

We waited for a few minutes. Nothing happened. When we started to talk again, a portal opened. It was black and a deep red. Oh no. I thought. It has to be them...As soon as I thought that, 3 demons came out of the portal.

"Miss Leila. You are being summoned by your mother." One of them said with a blank expression. Audrey, Akio, and Lio all looked over at me with surprise.

"Tell her, I will be there soon. I am requesting entry outfits for one female and two males." I said with a clear and stern voice.

"Yes ma'am." The demon replied and nodded, disappearing into the portal. He soon came back with 4 outfits. The first was for me. I was in a blood red dress with many ruffles and tall black heels. The next outfit was for Audrey and it was dark red at the top and the rest was red with a black lace with a bow around the waist. It to also had black heels. The next outfit was for Lio, it was a red tux with a white button up, and a black tie, with black dress shoes. The next outfit was Akio's. It was a black tux with a red tie, black button up, and black dress shoes.

"Kawaii~!" Audrey and I screamed at the same time making Akio and Lio put their hands to their ears.

3rd POV

They all went and dressed into their new clothes. After a few minutes of struggle getting into them, they all came out and were escorted through the portal.

"Why do we have to wear these clothes?" Audrey asked nudging Leila's shoulder.

"No one can pass through the demon realm portal, unless they are a demon. The only exception are those who are wearing clothes made from a certain material, only made in the demon realm." Leila replied.

"How do you have it then? Is it hard to obtain?" Audrey asked.

"I didn't want you to find out, cuz I thought you would treat me differently, but I'm actually the daughter of the King and Queen of the demon world."

All of them stopped and looked at her with shock.

"What? Did I say something weird?" Leila asked looking at their shocked faces.

"Y-You're a princess?" Lionus yelled.

"It sounds so cheesy when you say that. I hate the word 'princess'." Leila said.

They all walked into what looked like a castle. It was enormous. It was made from a black quartz, and the windows were made from a special type of transparent crystal. There were many guards placed outside the castle walls. When they noticed Leila they all stood straight and welcomed her back.

They went inside to prepare for what's to come.
