Taniths POV:

maybe it was a bad idea to break up with Ghastly... but I.. I still love him its just.. im afraid of losing him.. but I guess I just did that. wait.. wait wait wait wait wait.. WHAT DID I DO?! I BROKE UP WITH GHASTLY BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO LOSE HIM! .. oh god im such an idiot!... I think its just that anyway..

he probably hates me now. I groaned and fell into my couch.

I grabbed my phone and stared at Ghastlys number. I didnt know whether to click it or leave it. I sighed and clicked it.

it rang 4 time before someone picked up.

"hello?" I heard a voice crack.. oh no.

"Ghastly? .. have you been crying?" I asked softly. he sniffed on the other end.

"maybe.." he answered.

"oh my god.. I feel so bad.. I didn't.. I mean I didnt want to lose you so I went right ahead and just dumped you. I didn't mean to I was -as always- an idiot.. please forgive me?" I explained the situation. 

it was silent for a bit until I heard a rustle in the background.

"Tanith?" I heard a velvety voice. skulduggery.. I never noticed he had such a beautiful voice. wait what did I just think?

"hey" I said softly.

"Ghastly left.. he got upset and.. well went to sit in his office thing" he explained.

"skul I feel so bad I didnt was to lose him but I did just exactly that! im such an idiot!" I yelled.

he sighed.

"look ill be over there soon to talk to you about it.. just.. if you do try and get back together with him.. he's really down" he told me.

"yeah" and with that we hung up. I need to get him back as soon as possible. or someone else.. damn mind! no I want Ghastly.. I.. think.

skulduggerys POV:

when I hung up I got another call.. private number.

I answered.

"uh... hello?" I answred hesitantly.

"SKULDUGGERY!" a girl screamed.

"ah! dont scream! who is this?!" I asked.

"Sarah! Sarah green!" ... sarah green. I froze.

".. no.. no no no you died!" I panicked.

"pfft so did you" she told back..

"... whatever" I grumbled "how did you get my number?" I asked.

"oh.. uh by people" he hesitated.

"right.. uh where are you?" this is all to weird.

"uh I dunno.. someone said you where visiting a girls house... VALKYRIE! thats it.. but right now im inside her house and shes glaring at me.. very angrily" Sarah explained.

"uh ok look -" I sighed "- ill be there in an hour just make sure Val doesn't kill you before I do" I said angrily and hung up.

if you want to know Sarah is another ex girl friend of mine. she cheated on me with another guy and I guess I never forgave her.

anyway I said bye to Ghastly -making sure he was alright too- and drove off to Taniths.

once I arrived I knocked on her door 4 times.

I heard shuffling before a creak in the door.

"hey skul" Tanith said sadly.

"hey.. you ok?" I said not knowing WHAT to say.

"yeah you can come in" she said opening the door.

Taniths POV:

wow.. feels like I haven't seen skul in ages, even though I only saw him a few days ago.

we sat down and started to talk.

"Tanith explain why you broke up with him" Skul said first. I shrugged.

"I-I dont know.. I didn't want to lose him in my life but after I did it it was then I relised I did just that.. but its also because I think I like someone else" I said the last bit so quite no on could here but Skul.

"oh.. uh who?" he hesitated.

"you" I said whispering.

"... oh" is all Skul said.

"I... im sorry" I sobbed. im crying now and skul is trying to make me stop crying.

"hey, its fine I dont mind. its just you have to remember im with Valkyrie" thats a response I wasn't expecting. I was thinking he'd yell at me.

I nodded "o-ok" I croaked.

he checked his watch.

"ok listen I have to go, someone's at my house and I hate her. ill come back tomorrow and see how you're doing ok?" he said smoothly.

I nodded. I didn't trust my voice.

as soon as he left I broke down again. im a bad person her dumping a guy who loved me so much for my own selfish reasons.
