Chapter 1

Serena's POV

I walk inside Anistar High. It's a pretty big school. Suddenly, I see three people in the distance. Ugh, not them. Miette, Ursula, and Melody. Ursula is the leader, Melody is the slightly less mean one, and Miette is the Ash-lover. I hated Miette a lot more than all three and I knew I wasn't gonna be the only one since Ash is taken. I glared as the three snobs approached our group. "Hii~ Ashy!", Miette screeched in her too high-pitched voice. "Ashy?", Misty said, glaring at Miette. "Hey! She's ripping off MY nickname for Ash!", Gary pointed at Miette. "Huh?", Miette notices Gary. "Move out of our way!", Ursula interrupted. "You're the one that's in our way!", I stepped forward. "Hey, let's leave em' alone.", Melody said. "What?! Melody, what the hell?! Whose side are you on?", Ursula hissed at Melody. She sighs. "Your side." All three of them walked away. "Good, now I can finally breathe again.", Drew said, referring to the fact that they all pretty much took baths in perfume. Paul nods. I giggle at the comment. After a while, the group scrambled, heading to different classes. "Hey cutie, what class do you have?" "Hopefully a class where I can't see your pathetic face in.", I grumbled. "Serena, I'm hurt." I silently walked to History with Gary following close behind. "Hey! Why are you following me?" "I'm not. I'm going to class.", he shrugged. The girls nearby recognized him instantly and noticed me. One girl in particular looked at Gary sadly. He must've broken her heart. I wasn't watching where I was going cause I bumped into the side of the wall. "Wow, so you're clumsy too, huh?" "Shut up.", I muttered, hiding my flustered face. He smirked. I groaned. This was gonna be a long day. I went into my History class, Gary going into the class next door. Yes!! I only had this class with Misty. No!! I can't stand this girl! She took Ash from me. I plopped down in my seat that was farther than her's. She glanced at me, but I glared in return, causing her to look confused. The day passed by slowly. By 4th period, I had gotten a text.
