Hidden Scars

Skin so soft to the touch

Flesh, yes, you don't see much

-

Undressed, faded scars are placed

From razor blades gone so haste

-

A constant reminder, of what you once were

The misery you wish could be a blur

-

But what about the mind and heart?

Sadly the skin is just the start

-

Traumatized by whatever it might be

A story only you will truly see

-

You might have told it a thousand times

About the ones who committed crimes

-

Thinking about it still stings

You wish by now you had wings

-

Death is something you think about because of it

But surely life is something you just can't quit

-

I know it's hard living in painful story

Even at times your mind gets gorey

-

You're just that beautiful flower they had picked

To lead to death and pain they would inflict

-

But I hope there is Heaven for you

To all those people, I say adieu
