I wake up feeling worse than ever. I have a killer headache; and no, I'm not hungover. I sit up in bed and groan in pain.

"It's not like this day could get any worse" I mutter under my breath. I look to my left and see the clock. It reads 8:06am. What a good sleep in I had, I think to myself. I never usually sleep in this late except for Saturdays. I grab my phone to check the day. I turn it on and see that it says Friday. Wait! Wait it's Friday? Oh no! Oh oh no! I'm late for practice!

I jump out of bed; ignoring my splitting headache and run for my closet. I guess I'm gonna have to skip out on a shower. I quickly get changed, do a little makeup, grab my phone and wallet and run out the door. I run and run until I reach the skating rink where I'm practicing at. It only took about five minutes to get here. By now it's 8:37am as I push open the door. I run through the corridors until I reach the rink where I see Max standing there with his arms crossed. His face displaying he was extremely cross.

"I'm so so so sorry that I'm late! My alarm didn't go off." I say in a desperate attempt to be excused for this. I fast walk down the stairs towards the rink when I notice someone sitting in the stand. I can't see his face but he seems familiar. I ignore the figure and continue walking.

"Oh you shouldn't be sorry towards me." Max says to me. I pull a confused face as why he would say that when he interrupts my thoughts. "You should be sorry to Yuri over there; who I might add has been waiting here for over an hour". My eyes go wide as I look to my left again where the figure was. I turn to see that it is indeed Yuri Plisetsky in the stands.

"Yuri I'm so sorry that I was late." Yuri looks up from his phone and looks straight at me; as if he was thinking what to say.

"I didn't mind. I just wish I didn't have to wait. Now you can start your training."

"Um I just wanted to ask and I hope you don't get offended, but why are you here exactly?" I ask, a look of panic goes across my face when I see Max mouthing the words "why the hell would you say that" to me.

"To see you skate obviously," Yuri replies, looking back down on his phone. He continues scrolling through his phone while I make my way down to Max. Max spreads his arms out and I embrace him in a hug. He hugs back while I can see Yuri from the corner of my eye, looking right at me. He looks slightly pissed actually. I have no idea why though. We let go and I go get ready for my training.

After many stretches it was finally time to skate on the ice. I hop on the ice with Yuri intently watching me as I skate towards the centre doing my first jump; a triple lutz.

Two hours pass of me just doing jumps and different sequences. Yuri has been watching me carefully this whole time. It's actually kinda creeping me out now. I stop in the middle of the ice and sit down. No other skater would have the stamina to continue doing jumps for this long; ever. I only had a few breaks which weren't longer than three minutes each. New personal best I decide.

"Good job F/N," I hear Max yell out; clearly proud for how long I stayed on the ice. I get up and slowly skate towards Max. I look up towards Yuri to see what he had to see when I see him smiling towards me. Holy crap he's smiling! He never does that!

"Very good job F/N. I'm quite impressed for how long you managed to stay on the ice." I smile widely at that statement and thank him. "Your jumps weren't too bad I guess," he continues adding a wink.

"Heyy that's mean," I say towards him. I pout, cross my arms then turn always from him. I stay here trying not to laugh as I hear Yuri getting up.

"F/N I'm sorry if I was rude," says Yuri. I can't hold it anymore. I burst out laughing and look towards him.

"I'm not offended. It's called acting honey," I say laughing. His eyes go wide as I call him 'honey'. His reaction tips me over the edge. I curl in a ball on the ground crying from laughter.

"Shut up... sweetheart." Yuri says back to me.

"Hey I'm no one's sweetheart, baby". I reply with an innocent tone in my voice. Yuri looks like he's about to explode while Max is sitting there trying not to laugh.

"Well I'll see you later,, darling." Yuri says as he turns to walk away.

"See you later honeybunch," I yell out to him before he leaves the room. He turns to wink at me then finally walks away.

As soon as he is gone, Max and I look at each other. Both shock and excitement written in our eyes. We both look at each other and break out in laughter.

"I just made Yuri Plisetsky smile and wink at me! Oh my god! I can't believe this!" I yell at Max.

"He is totally into you," Max says. My eyes go wide. Then I think about what I thought last night. He will never love me.

"I highly doubt it Max." I say then walk away. Max says nothing more as I help him pack up our stuff. We walk to our apartment together that we are renting. We decide to chill there the rest of the day and just end up ordering F/F for lunch. Nice way to relax in my opinion.
