After a few songs and a few drinks we moved our way over to an empty table in the backside of the room.
"I think I'm going to use the bathroom, do you want to come?" Hana asked me.
"Might as well, I don't want some creep coming over and hitting on me." I told her.
We both stood up and made our way up stairs. You could still hear the music beating from below. The bathrooms were at the end of the hall. However, in between the space there was curtained off rooms. I was examining the craftsmanship of them. They were made of a wine red colored velvet. Simple yet intuitive designs were sewn into the bottoms with white stitching. Some of the rooms were open and you could see that there's a couple of leather couches and a table. There was a few bigger rooms next to the bathrooms they were labeled VIP. I'm guessing that's where the people go for a drink if they don't want to deal with people or want to cough up the money to look like a big deal.
"Hey, I'm going to run in really quick." Hana told me as she headed for the bathroom door. I stood just outside of the door, I was going to go in, but I saw that it only had one restroom.
As I stood there, I overheard a conversation from the direction of the VIP rooms. "I told you I'm not taking your fucking deal." I heard a voice state very clearly.
"Please, I need an extension! I told you I could get you double the amount at a later date!" Someone pleaded, they sound scared. I heard a gun cock. This is bad.... I grab my chest, we need to get out of here.
"I don't care want you want.. I only care about what I want. Now, you give me the money, or I'm cutting ties with your organization." The first voice sounded more sinister. Is this a gang dispute?
"Okay Sir! I-it's here! It's in my case! Take it please! Just don't hurt me!"
"Good. Now, don't ever try anything like this again." I heard the man grab the case and the curtain opened. The owner of the other voice ran out immediately. He was short and was wearing a suit. He had fear in his eyes. Fuck, I need to get out of here. I saw the other man's ring covered fingers hit the curtain to open it, a black pistol was in his hand, and the case in the other. My heart stopped beating when I saw his face. Axel Blake was glaring at me with an angered expression. I just got into something I probably shouldn't have heard.
"You." He narrowed his eyes at me. His lavender eyes were full of hatred.
"M-me?" I stuttered out. I know that I'm an FBI agent, but I'm not usually ever in these positions. I've always have been behind a computer screen.
"Who in the hell else would I be talking too? You're the only one here?" He waved his pistol around, he then facepalmed and rolled his eyes at me.
"O-oh." I bit my lip and looked away. He shoved his gun into his pants, covering it up with his flannel. You could never know at their unless he took it out.
"Well, I don't care what you heard, what you saw, but if I hear one word about you saying anything to the cops? You're dead." He stated very clearly. I nod and he looked out the window. "Fuck, that bastard already beat you to it girl." He smirks and his lip rings shined in the light. I began to hear the sounds of sirens blaring. Axel takes a bigger grip of his suitcase then looks at me. He walked towards me and grabs me by the wrist. "Nevermind that, I'll make sure you won't myself. I can't let you stay behind and tell them everything you saw." He runs down a hall and down the flight of stairs to our left. He's kidnapping me!?! What about Hana? She's still back there!
"What are you doing!??" I shout. I can't just let him take me! I know I'm an agent but he's got a gun and I don't.
"Just come on girl. I'm not dealing with you right now, we got bigger things to worry about." He pushes out the steel door and we're now in the alley behind Straza. Axel fumbles for his keys then presses a button. A matte charcoal lamborghini with blue underglow starts up, its engine was smooth. It was probably worth more than anything I hope to make in my lifetime. "This way, chick. Don't make this difficult for me." Difficult for him? What the fuck? He's the one who made it difficult for me!?? He takes me to the car and he gets in, I don't know what he'll do to me if I run or cause a scene. So, I slowly get into the passenger's side. I buckle in slowly and Axel was dialing a number into his phone. He steps on the gas and speeds down the alley. Bringing the phone to his ear, he begins to speak. "It's me.... Yeah...... about that, well the mission kind of didn't go as we planned..." he looked over at me and I quickly looked away. "Well, I have the money. I also have something that we don't want. I'm not telling you what yet, you can see when I get there." He bites his lip and turns of the phone, throws it in the back seat. It hits the briefcase filled with money and grips he the steering wheel. We quickly turned around a couple of corners, making his way toward the interstate. I don't know what's going to happen to me, but I'm actually very scared. I want to say something, but it's probably best for me to keep my mouth shut.
