"We're going to start out with a photo shoot. It's not actually for anything, I just want to see how you do. So, if you don't mind, I'll be sat right here. Watching." Jodie smiles politely.
Before me is a white screen with lights crowding it, a camera placed appropriately in front of the screen.
"Okay. Um, where's the photographer?" I ask, nervously.
"He'll be here in just a second." She replies.
"Uh, okay."
"If you want to pick out an outfit, that's fine too. Anything you would feel more comfortable modelling in." She points over to the clothes rack in the corner.
"Will do." I reply, trying to sound cool, but failing miserably.
I make my way over to it and pick out a skimpy red dress with a plunging neck line, the flowing skirt finishes mid-thigh, and the killer black god-knows-how-may-inches heels make me look really smouldering.
I change behind the tick rack of clothes.
I decide to redo my makes up and I line my eyes with darker eye shadow and make my lashes thicker and longer.
I have to say I look a bit over the top, but who cares? It's only a photo shoot, it's not even for anything.
"Ah, Sebastian." Jodie grins, as I hear her French kissing someone's cheeks.
I spin round, mascara brush in hand and see who will be photographing me.
My jaw drops in despair as I realise who it is.
It's the hot guy, the beautiful man from the stairs, the tall dark and handsome stranger.
Oh God, please no.
"Hello, Kitty... Is it?" He asks, approaching me.
"Yes." I gulp. "How did you know my name?" I ask.
"I have a list of photo shoots I'm doing with names beside them given to me in the morning." He smirks.
"Oh yes, of course." I sigh, face palming.
Sebastian chuckles and reaches out for my hand, the rest practically happens in slow motion, he holds it lightly. I feel tingles up my arm as he does, he loosely holds it and lifts it closer to him. His eyes holding my gaze the whole time.
He then lightly brings it to his lips and kisses my skin softly. I have to hold back a gasp, his eyes twinkle as he lowers my hand again smiling up at me.
His husky voice breaks the silence. "Shall we begin?" He asks.
"Yes." My voice squeaks.
He walks over to the camera than is balanced on the tripod, grinning at me as I stand before it. That's when I remember where I am.
Jodie taps her pen on her clip board expectantly.
I gulp and get ready.
After a few flashes of the camera and a few exaggerated poses, we're done. I sigh and walk away, changing back into my normal clothes.
Sebastian is talking to Jodie and whispering, I feel myself getting more and more nervous. They can't make me un-sign something, can they?
I walk back over to them, they stop talking and turn to me.
"That was brilliant." Jodie beams. "Really excellent."
"Seriously!?" I shriek. "I mean... Seriously?" I tone it down a bit as the two laugh at me, which was not the initial purpose of my words.
"Seriously." She nods. "I'll see you tomorrow Kitty. At around 10 AM?" She asks, although I know this is no time for negotiation.
"Mm." I nod, yes, as she walks out the door, the clicking of her heels becoming more and more distant, as she leaves Sebastian and I alone together.
He turns to his camera and begins to fiddle with it, unclicking it from the tripod and seemingly flicking through the pictures. We stand in silence.
I muster up the courage to turn and talk to him, but the words just don't seem to come out. Instead, I turn and walk out of the door, having missed and opportunity.
"I like this one the best." He calls from inside.
I stop dead in my tracks, being only a few steps away from the door. It feels as if I have just finished a class and the teacher has asked to see me afterwards, I just know this can't end well. Because... Well, it's me. I ruin everything.
I take in a deep breathe.
"Which one?" I ask, turning back and walking inside to face him.
His back is to me as it was before, but he soon turns to me, his face scrunched up. He looks adorable, concentrating, as if he were a small child.
"This one," he turns the camera and shows me.
It's a shot of me looking directly at the camera doing the cat eyes, pouting a little and bending sideways. My cleavage on full show, I blush a little.
"The dress you chose was... Interesting." He winks, turning the camera off and putting it into a small black bag.
"Hmm, yeah." I giggle, trying to hide my embarrassment.
"Revealing." He raises an eyebrow, slinging the bag over his shoulder as we both head for the door.
I awkwardly laugh, whilst trying to fit of a fitting reply.
Should I think of something witty and flirty?
Come on Kitty, decide.
Is it fitting to do so?
Is it too soon?
Am I too awkward to deliver it right?
Am I too... Not gorgeous enough for him to deliver it at all?
Decide, decide!
"You were obviously looking then." I blurt without having fully come to a conclusion. My mouth appears to work faster than my mind.
He turns his head and looks at me, a crooked smile playing on his lips. Oh God, I've really gone and done it now. He's going to think me a right idiot.
He lets out a chuckle and turns away again. "Yeah."
I feel as if I'm going to cry, this always happens.
I meet hot people, make them feel awkward and they end up hating me. Now I have to see this man every day.
"Do you wanna have coffee?" He asks as we walk down the stairs.
My mouth almost flies open, but I contain myself. "Sure."

So don't get me wrong, Kitty is BEAUTIFUL. And she sort of knows it, because she wouldn't go into modelling if she didn't
But all those knock-backs and non believers have thrown her off a bit, so she's insecrure in a strange way
As in she knows she's pretty, but she wishes she was prettier because she knows she not the most beautiful woman in the world and she wishes she was perfect
Because in her eyes so many women are (no one is)
So I hope that explains her awkwardness, because you wouldn't expect that from a model I know, but that's why
