"Hime? Are you okay? You've been locking yourself inside your for two days, already. Lumabas ka na! Kakain na tayo!" rinig kong sabi ni Shin sa labas ng kwarto ko. Wala akong plano na lumabas dito. I still remember what happened as if it was just yesterday.

Itan, my first love, is actually alive.

And the worst part of it all is that my mother knew all about it. She hid Itan from me, from us. Kaya din gustong gusto akong patayin ni Mistress, which is Itan's mother. Now that I've known all these facts, hindi ko na mawala sa isip ko. Halo halong emosyon ang nararamdaman ko. P

For a minute, nanahimik sa labas. Akala ko okay na lahat at di na ako iistorbohin ni Shin pero I was fucking wrong.

Napatalon nalang ako ng kama nang makarinig ako ng malakas na pagbagsak ng hindi ko alam na kung ano. Napatingin ako sa pintuan. Shin is standing there with i-dont-know-what. Pero i see that kind of weapon sa mga police when they force themselves into a suspect's house or sa mga locked space. Sira ang pintuan ko, sinira nya.

"What the hell are you thinking, Shinusuke??!!" I shouted furiously. "I said I needed time alone, and I wont go out. Bakit kailangan mo pang sirain yung pintuan?!"

Nilagay nya ung weapon nya sa likod nya na para bang pumoporma. Which made my eyes roll, by the way. "Ayaw mo lumabas, eh. I had to find a way."

"By ruining my door, are you fucking kidding me?!"

Lumapit sya sakin, iniwan ang weapon nya, and hugged me tightly. "You don't have to be alone, Hime. I'm here. I will never leave nor betray you."

That simple words were enough. That simple words from Shin made me bawl my eyes out within seconds.

Hinigpitan nya pa ang yakap sakin and patted my head. "It's okay, Hime. You can cry, you don't have to talk if you don't want to. You don't have to be brave infront of your kuya."

I cried even more and hugged him, finally. I felt really betrayed nang malaman kong alam ni Mom na buhay si Itan. I hated myself all these years, dahil akala ko, ako ang reason why he died.

How can I ever be responsible for the death of someone, who is not really dead to begin with?

"She betrayed me, Shin. Of all people, si Mom pa." sabi ko.

"She might have a good reason for that. Pero hindi mo naman kailangan na patawarin si Mom agad. I understand your emotions, rage, and everything. I'm not invalidating you. You can be angry at Mom for as long as you want. Pero for now, we must focus on defeating the Mistress and stop her from killing you."
