Chapter 2

Carrie's POV

"Come on, we're here" Jace said

"Wait, please... a girl needs to be in her best!" said Allie, while finishing her makeup

"Didn't you just put that thing in your face before?" Jace asked, referring to the mascara she was putting on

"Yes, but it wasn't one hundred percent perfect"

"Well I don't know why a beautiful girl like you needs all that crap, you are absolutely stunning without any makeup"

"Yeah... sure. Let's get in"

And so we did. The place was crowded, looked like Chris had put a lot of effort in this party. I asked Allie to come with me, and we went to the living room.

"Hey Carrie!" a familiar voice sounded

"Oh hi Alana! I haven't seen you in a while! What have you been up to?"

"Oh, you know, the same old usual... Hanging around boys, having 5 boyfriends/ day" she laughed and I rolled my eyes. Alana goes out a lot. Since I met her, I have seen her with so many boys. She was exaggerating about the '5 boyfriends' but she does have lots of relationships.

"Right. Well, can you get me and Allie some drinks?"

"Sure, just wait here. I'll be right back."

After 5 minutes, Alana came back with the drinks. Then we started to get used to the environment and started chatting

"So Carrie, do you have a boyfriend now?"

"Well, not really... B-but Allie does!" I tried to focus the attention on Allie because I knew the moment I said I didn't have a boyfriend, the moment...

"Oh gurl, we gotta fix that! I have a friend that..."

I cut her off "Sorry, I am not into that right now"

"That's fine, what about you? How is life going for you?" she looked at Allie

"Well, I have been seeing this amazing guy lately, he's so sweet and we finish each other sentences"

"She's had a crush on him since ever" I added.

"No, I have not...ok, I have. The thing is I still do and it's working out" she smiled "in fact, I'm going to search for him and introduce you" she left.

A tall blonde boy walked next to us.

"Carrie, this is my boyfriend Kurt"

"Hi, I'm Carrie. Nice to meet you"

He sat and held Alana's hand. Just then, Allie and Jace arrived.

"Great! Now that you are here we could play truth or dare"

"Really Alana? So how are the dares going to work for me? Let's say you wanted me to kiss someone. You two are both girls and they are your boyfriends!" I complained "Ugh, I'm gonna get a beer"

I walked out, feeling a little tipsy. I grabbed a beer from the kitchen and turned around...

"Hi princess!"
