He couldn't stop looking at me. We locked eye for a quick 2 seconds before it was interrupted.
"Girl I think he coming over here". Keyniah said turning away.
I turned around to see where she was going and when I turned back around I bumped into somebody.
"Oh my bad ma, I didn't even see you there". It was Xavier.
He helped me up off the ground. He smelled like a rich white man. He had on a purple polo hat with a black polo man, black robin jeans, and some black 11's.
He picked me up by my hands. He looked me directly in the eyes as he picked me up.
"Wassup I'm X". He said letting go of my hands.
"Hey i'm Brinia" I said nervously.
We looked around at each other for a good 2 minutes. I didn't know what to say to him it was really awkward. Still their was something about him that didn't seem right, almost like I notice him from somewhere. "Mask off" came on by future came on. That's my song. I started dancing, then all of a sudden I felt hands on my waist. I turned in shockedness.
"Aye bruh watch out. It don't look like she want to be touched." I heard Xavier say.
The dude slowly left. I kinda wish he hadn't, he was cute.
"You ok beautiful. Nigga's can be hella thirsty". He said touching my my lower back, super close to my butt. I jumped but I don't think he could tell.
"Yeah I'm ok" I said smiling.
I looked around to see if Keyniah was looking.She wasn't paying no attention to me she was too busy with a nigga that she was dancing with. She was all up on him. We never really went to parties but if we did I could count on her to have a good time. I tried to signal her, but I had no chance.
It's after the party and everybody it leaving. Keyniah and I was we're heading back to my car when I heard somebody yelling.
"AYE BRINIA SLOW DOWN!" Xavier said running towards me. "So I can't get your number, damn it's like that". He said laughing.
"Boy shut up. Well...are you going to get your phone out so I can put my number in it or nah." I said trying to be funny. He turned his hat backward, licked his lips and then gave me a hug. He wrapped both of his arms around my back, as I stood on my tippy toes to wrap my arms around his neck. That hug made me just melt inside. Finally he licked his really slowly, turned around and walked away.

It's 1:30 p.m and I'm finally waking up. I kinda don't remember nothing after that hug that Xavier gave me. I can't remember the last time I felt like that. I was in the middle of making me a bowl of cereal until I got a text.
Xavier: wassup this Xavier
Me: Heyyy
Xavier: when can I see you again
Me: you tell me
Xavier: how bout, 4:30 at the quad
Me: see you there
I planned on getting my nails done today at 4 with Keyniah because she was leaving this afternoon but she would understand.
"Goodmorning girl" Keyniah said to me.
"You mean afternoon, it's almost 2 o'clock".
"Dang, I slept in that long, but anyway what you getting done to your nails." She said as she looked through the fridge.
