Four+Trsix=10

Chapter 10 (Four's pov)

Don't worry, if it's not the next one, the chapter after wil be Tris's pov.

"What?" I ask. Stunned anyone would want me to do that. "Why should I? I mean, why do you want me to do that." I suddenly remember Tris will get hurt if I don't. I try to stop those words, but it's too late.

Junie and Mickey start punching me. They punched and kicked me. I started bleeding, and had so many bruises I couldn't count.

I just closed my eyes and let them. Tris was going to die, and no-one really cared about me.

Tris. I have to pull thru for her. She would hate it if I acted this weak.

"Stop." I spit out. "I'll do it! Just stop."

"We don't believe you!" Junie screams and knees me hard in the stomach.

Just as I'm about t fight back, there is a crash. A stunned Uriah stands in a door way I didn't see before.

"Uriah! Get out of here!" I scream. He can't see me like this.

Of course he doesn't listen. He lunges towards Mickey and knocks him to the ground. He punches once, hard.

Then he comes for Junie, and punches him twice. Junie is knocked to the floor.

"God Four!" he screams, "What are you doing?

"Just untie me and I'll tell you on the way to the compound." I say. We have to get out of here before Junie and Mickey come to.

We run for a while, me struggling, Uriah just going.

"You didn't...bring a...truck......or at least...a car? "I ask between breathes. Getting kicked and punched really took it's toll on me.

"Well, I wasn't sure when you left or how far you'd gotten." he looks at me. "just stop and rest for a sec Four. We've been running for a while."

Normally I don't like when things like this happen, but right now I listen to what Uriah says.

"What happened?" he asks me.

"Well, I was going for a walk, I don't know how long, and then these two guys came up behind me and started punching me." I stop. Should I tell Uriah what they told me? I don't want him to get hurt.

Uriah looks at me and I know he can tell I'm keeping something from him. "You can tell me you know."

I sigh and keep going. "They started punching me, and then you came in." Wait. Why did Uriah come looking for me? What was that important that he had come to the fringe by himself? He hates this place. "Why were you looking for me anyways?"

HE gives me this look like he wants to smack himself in the face. "Oh yeah," he says, trying to be casual, but not well. "Tris woke up."

After he says that I just stand up and start running. I run faster then I ever have to get to the compound. Most people would think I have superpowers for running this fast.

They would too, if they were in my position.

Besides, Tris woke up.
