Four+Trsix=10

Chapter 9 (Uriah's pov)

This is going to be the shortest chapter. Partly because I don't know what to write, and partly because I going to do this chapter again in Four's pov.  Sorry I haven't updated in a while.Enjoy!

(Chapter 9 (Uriah's pov)

"Uriah, why don't you go find him?" Christina says. Her eyes keep pointing towards the outside wall, so I'm guessing Four went outside the Compound.

"Okay," I say, meaning I get Christina's hint. "I'll leave you two to, talk." I close the door and walk out of the hospital. As soon as I'm sure I'm out of the room, I start racing down the hall. If I'm going to find Four I have to start looking fast.

He could be anywhere.

I walk past the gates."Yo dude!" someone shouts, clearly recovering from the memory serum. "If you're looking for that other guy, he was going in the direction of the thing you called the fridge."

Fridge? Oh yea fringe. "Don't you mean fringe?" I ask.

"Yeah, whatever." he mumbles and walks away. Okay so Four's headed for the fringe. I don't know how far he's gotten, so I don't take a car. I decide to run.

I run for nearly Two hours. Then I start seeing people skittering back into small lean to type things. I didn't realize it was this bad here. I look into all of them, a menacing look on my face that eeveryone backs away from.

I've been doing this for so long, it feels like about two and a half hours. Some guy walks up to me.

"If you're looking for that dude who was here a few hours ago, he's in one of those buildings there." he says gesturing to a group of five buuildings. "I don't know which one."

"Thanks." I say and run into the first building. I serach it's two floors twice. Looking in every broom closet. I do the same with the next three. I come to the fifth building. It only has one floor, so I won't take as long.

I search every room twice.

Four's not here. Was that guy lying?

I open the door to a small janitors closet. I bump into the pile of mops and knock them over. Dang! I'll have to clean this up. Just as I pick up the first broom a grunt from behind the wall catches my attention.

When I squint, I can see a small door, no handles, more like a plank, covering the wal.

I push against it. Nothing. I body chuck it.

The plank crashes to the floor. I stand stunned for a minute.

There are two guys standing in front of a man who is tied up against the wall, blood and bruises covering most of his body.  

The man looks up and yells, wait no, whispers a yell, "Uriah! Get out of here!" I realize the man is Four.

Before I can think about what I'm doing, I lunge towards the man closest to me and knock him to the floor. With one swift punch he's out cold.

The other comes towards me. Two punches and he's out too.

"God Four!" I sceam. "What are you doing?!? What happened???"

"Just untie me and I'll tell you on the way back to the compound." he says firmly. I don't question him. I do what Four says.

Once he's free, we race out of the building as fast as he can and we run to the compound.

"You didn't....bring ....a truck?...or at least...a car?" he says between breathes, clearly struggling.

"Well, I wasn't sure when you left, or how far you'd gotten." I look at him still huffing and puffing. "Just stop and rest for a sec Four. We've been running for a while. He doesn't object and just sits down in the middle of the road.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Well, I was going for a walk, I don't know how long, and then these two guys came up behind me and started punching me. I was knocked out and then.." he stops, like he's deciding to tell me something or not. 

"You can tell me you know." I say. 

"hey started beating me up. And then you came in." he finishes. Then he looks at me, like he just remembered something. "Why were you looking for me anyways?"

I almost smack myself in the face. I forgot about Tris. "Oh yeah, Tris woke up."

Four doesn't say anything, but hos eyes widen and he starts running towards the compound at top speed. I try to follow, but he's to fast.

And when I say fast, I mean really fast.
