Emma's P.O.V.
"Omg, that's so cute!" Cam exclaims after I tell her about my date with Harry.
"Yeah, it was. He's great." I smile. He really is. I can't help but think about Louis sometimes. He seems to just creep in my mind.
"Sounds like it." She smiles. I wish that I would've met Cam sooner. She is like my best friend that's a girl.
"So what's up with you and Liam?"
"I don't know. One minute I feel like he loves me and the next... I don't even know. I don't really think that Liam wants a relationship."
"Do you?"
"Of course. I want us to both be committed to each other." She says and I nod. I know where she is coming from. Being committed to someone is a great thing. That means that they won't cheat on you and they are only with you. I see Harry come around the corner. I smile at him and wave.
"Hey, Em. Can I talk to you for a minute?" Harry walks up to my locker.
"Sure."
"Alone." He looks at Cam.
"Oh, sorry. Catch up with you later?" She asks and heads the other direction. I look back at Harry.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"Okay, well, are we like... you know..officially a couple?" He asks.
"Yeah, I guess. We don't have to be if you don't want to..."
"That's what I wanted to talk about. Are you ready to be committed to me?"
"Only if you do the same for me."
"Okay. Well, I'll let you think about if we are ready to be official. Okay?" Harry grabs my hands.
"Okay." I smile and pull him into a hug. I rest my head on his shoulder. Am I really ready to be committed to Harry and only Harry?
Louis's P.O.V.
I decided to go to the supermarket to buy some food. I really needed to get out of the house. I have been just moping around for too long and it was time for a change. I grab the groceries and go to the check out line. I see a familiar face in front of me, but I can't quite remember. It's on the tip of my tongue. It's Emma's dad.
"Hey, Mr.Hail." I say and he turns around.
"Oh, Hi Louis. I haven't seen you in a while." He smiles. You rarely ever see that man smile. Ken was his pride and joy and that all seemed to slip away after he died. Emma's dad never acknowledged Emma and still doesn't. He never wanted a daughter, so he kind of just ignored her.
"Yeah, I've been busy."
"I hear that you're getting married and you're a soon-to-be father. Congrats!"
"Thanks, Mr.Hail."
"Well, I better get going. Come by the house anytime."
"Okay, bye." I watch him walk away. He's so nice to me. I guess I am just like a son to him. Once I put the groceries in my trunk, I start my car and begin my drive home. There is a car in the driveway. That car looks awfully familiar. I walk inside the house to yelling. Niall is standing there yelling at Sophie.
"What the hell?" I set the groceries down.
"Oh, Louis. You're home early." Sophie says, twirling her hair.
"Sophie, you tell him or I will." Niall sternly says.
"Tell me what?"
"Nothing. He's lying."
"Sophie..."
"Look, let me show you how it's done..." Niall says.
"You are not the father of Sophie's baby. I am. She cheated on you over the summer with me and we had sex and she got pregnant. Then, she forced you to have sex with her so she could say that you were the father." My jaw drops.
"Shut up, Niall! Louis, this isn't how I wanted to tell you! Please just hear me out..."
"I've heard enough." I am so mad. I gave up everything for her and this baby. And it's not even mine. I gave up Emma. I gave Emma up for nothing.
"Louis please..."
"Stop! CAN'T YOU SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE? I GAVE UP SO MUCH FOR YOU! AND IT WAS ALL A LIE." I march out of the house and to my car.
"The wedding is off." I open the car door.
"No, Louis! Please! I love you!"
"Bullshit." I say and start the engine. I drive away, leaving all my memories of Sophie behind me.
