Emma's P.O.V.
Cam and I sit in a café and order vanilla lattes. Once they arrive to the table, we both take a sip. The hot liquid runs down my throat and I set the cup down.
"So, guess what?" Cam asks.
"Um... I don't know. What?"
"Some of our friends are going to NYU!"
"Like?"
"Liam and Zayn. Have you heard about Louis's choice yet?"
"No. I hope that he gets into NYU. I would be so nice to see him almost everyday."
"Yeah, it would be awesome to have the whole gang there."
"What about Perrie?"
"Her and Zayn are having issues. I hardly see her anymore."
"Well, that's a shame." I take another sip of my drink. Damn, it's good.
"Yeah it is."
"Well, on a happier note... Liam and I are officially a couple." Cam smiles. I clap my hands quietly.
"That's great! I'm so happy for you guys."
"Me, too. I've been waiting so long and now we are finally together."
"That's awesome." I smile. The waitress comes back with our check and we exit the restaurant. We hug and say goodbye. I climb into my car and start the engine. My phone rings in my pocket and I answer the call.
"Hello?"
"Hey, babe. I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tonight." Louis says into the phone. I feel my cheeks blush when he calls me babe.
"Yeah, definitely. See you at 6:30 at Berry's?"
"Sounds good. See you later. Love you."
"Love you, too." I hang up the phone. Going on dates with Louis are always fun. He is so sweet and so funny at the same time.
...
Louis pulls into my driveway and comes to the front door. I open the door. Louis is wearing a polo and looks very attractive.
"You look absolutely stunning." Louis complements me. I look down at my short light blue dress.
"Thank you. You look very handsome." A smile spreads across his face. He pulls me in for a kiss and runs his fingers through my hair. We walk out to the car and climb into it. Louis starts the car and we begin the short drive to Berry's.
"So, any specific reason that we are going on a date?"
"Um, not really. I just wanted to take my beautiful girlfriend out." He says and puts his hand on my thigh.
"Okay."
"Actually, I do have something to tell you. I would rather just tell you there."
"Okay. Nothing bad is it?"
"Nope."
...
"I'll have a steak, medium rare. And she will have one rare." Louis hands the waiter our menus. I love how he knows exactly what I want. I wonder what he has to tell me. It's good news, thank goodness.
"Will you tell me now?" I ask.
"Yes."
"What is it about?"
"College."
"Oh, okay."
"I found out after school today that..."
"That what?" I ask.
"I got in. I got into NYU."
"Really? Oh my god, Louis. This is great new!" Happy tears stream down my face.
"I know. Now, we won't have to have a long distance relationship!" He pulls me into a hug.
"I'm just so happy." I sob into his shoulder. Things are finally going to be great. I don't have to live without Louis. He is coming with me and I can't help but cry tears of joy. I love him and hopefully now, I won't be afraid to fall in love.
