"How did he do that??"
"Yeah, he knew all our names!"
"Scrap the names!! He knew what I bought last week !"
"He knew my entire history !!"
"Gawd, and we thought we could embarrass him !!"
The group left Max's tent and hurried away as Kana and her friends finally came out of hiding.
Max turned to them.
"Impressed ??", he asked.
"Hell yah !!" , exclaimed Susan as every agreed.
Stacy opened her mouth to say something, but shut it immediately.
"Tell me, whatever you want to say.", said Max, noticing Stacy.
"Well, it's just that I wanted to learn something like that too..."
Max smiled ear to ear.
The girls walked dragging their feet as they made their way to the exit. It was quite an exiting day and they had fun, now, they were planning to go to Kana's home. They had an entire night planned out already. TG A^(1/2 ) was waiting for them.
As they were leaving, Dave came running to them at full speed, yelling at them to stop.
Dave, Wade's twin brother, best buds of Matt, who was Jane's crush.
"Sup?", Kana asked before Jane could ask where Matt was.
Dave crouched, panting and wheezing. In between gasps, he spilled out,
"Matt.... He's... h..Hurt... Really bad.."
He sucked in a big gasp and continued.
"Wade's waiting with him, just run that way, you'll find him, I'm going on ahead to find a doc or someone."
He took off again, and the girls took off in the opposite direction. They fair was now deserted almost and they knew it would take a while to find some medic. They could help until then.
"What happened ?", Jane burst as soon as she saw Matt on the floor and Wade crouching over him.
Kana immediately pushed Wade aside, Wade moved way without any hesitation. He understood, but had forgotten about the 'crowding around an unconscious person' rule.
Even so, Kana was plain overdoing it as she held her breath when near Matt.
Jane broke into tears.
Matt's face was now swollen beyond recognition. His nose, mouth, forehead, left cheek were all bleeding. His right cheek was torn open and his teeth -broken- were visible.
Jane fell onto the floor sobbing. Stacy looked away. Gwen and Susan took off running, they had to find a professional, this was way beyond them.
Wade just looked on, powerless.
Kana checked his pulse, that was priority. It was faint, but still there. Jane looked at Kana, as if asking what to do, even though she couldn't move. She was afraid of blood and her legs locked themselves already.
Matt's 'once used to be glasses' were nowhere to be seen, but there were still a few glass pieces embedded around his eyes.
Did it enter his eyes ?
Kana shivered even at the thought of it.
Where are they? Aren't there any docs around here??
They were taking too much time, Matt was loosing to much blood.
