(1 and a half years later)

This chair feels really uncomfortable for me. I'm currently in the building of the association. Of course, Harry still dosen't know.

If he did, he will insist on going here and research on them, and then I know for a fact he'll meet his parents once again.

I realized before that Anne isn't really sick. She pretended to be sick just for Harry to be assigned to me and maybe just maybe he can take her to me. Then she'll kill me.

Of course I know the purpose of why they wanted me here. It isn't because I am one of the most known killers but because they wanted to end me. Like they did with my parents.

I played with my black ballpen and spinned is around my hand. The working hand.

It slipped out of my hand and hit my picture, placed on the corner of my table.

I felt my heart beat faster of the sudden mistake. It caused a big crack on the picture.

How could that be so strong?

And you know those times in movies that once a picture cracks, it means something bad will happen?

I never actually believed that but now, I feel it.

Somebody suddenly barges in.

"Ms. Ridden." Katherine panted, as if she ran really fast to get to me.

"What is it?" I asked still looking at the picture.

"I overheard the Chief and Secretary... They want you to go on a mission." She said slowly.

I shot up from my seat and my eyes were widened, shocked like she is.

"What? What mission? When?" I bombarded so many questions to her.

"They want you to go after Gemma. Tonight." She replied shortly, but it was enough for me to understand.

But why would they want me to go after... their own daughter? And I myself thought she was dead.

"I heard them say that if you go after Gemma, they can catch you. They will set Gemma as bait then they would go there to kill you, calling Harry out to help you in the process."

"No! They can't call Harry! He cannot know about this.." I trailed off.

"So don't go. Don't agree." She simply said.

I pondered on it for a bit.

If I didn't go, I wouldn't have the chance to dig deeper in their secrets. They would kick me out of the association. That's the rules.

Damned rules.

"No. I have to go. Maybe I can kill Gemma first then them." I protested.

"But-" "No Katherine. I'll do it. I can." I cut her off.

There's nothing that can stop me now. What they did to my parents is unaccetable. I used to think my parents were the bad guys, I thought wrong.

And what I'm about to do is what I think is right.

Even if I myself needs to die too.
