Ron's Pov

I decide to go head to the lake today since i'm not doing anything. Dean, Seamus, and Neville are coming as well. I had invited Harry but he declined saying he had some business to take care of. He's been acting strange since the encounter with Malfoy... I'll be sure to ask him later. Hope the water isn't too cold.

*Third Person, At The Lake*

"Canon ball!" Yelled Neville as he jumped into the blue lake. The lake was warm from being heated by the sun all day. It was perfect really. They'd been swimming for quite a while and the sun was already about to set. Yet Neville still had all his energy. Ron and Dean got tired and decided to sit under an oak tree.

"So Ron, where's Harry?" asked Dean while they were drying off.

"Dunno. He said he has to take care of some business." Shrugged Ron. 'If Harry didn't want to come then that's okay!' He thought.

"He's been a bit off lately, don't you think?" said Seamus, sitting down on the right of Dean who was sitting across from Ron

Again Ron shrugged. "Yeah I suppose. He started to act more odd when we bumped into Malfoy."

"What about Malfoy?" Neville asked, now sitting in front of Ron. He decided his energy ran out.

"Oh it's just that Harry started to act strange when we bumped into him." Replied Ron, not seeing anything too weird about it. Obviously Neville didn't see it that way.

"How? I mean what'd Harry and Malfoy do?" Ron explained to all of them of what had happened earlier that day.

"Hmm. I think I know what's wrong with Harry..." muttered Neville.

"You do!" Ron exclaimed. See, Ron doesn't notice the faces Harry sends Draco when nobody is looking and the places Draco would send as well. But Neville does. And Hermione. And Pansy. And Blaise. Not that he knows that. They were doing it more often that year.

'How does anyone else not notice' Neville thought.

"I said think. But yes I'm pretty positive." He said nodding.

"Well don't just sit there lad, tell us." Demanded Seamus.

"Psh, no." What could he say? Nev wanted to have fun. Harry should be the one telling them any who.

"What?! Why not?" asked Ron desperately. Something was wrong with his best friend. He has a right to know some things, right?

"Well he should be the one to tell you if you haven't figured it out. It's his business." responded Neville in a matter-of-fact tone.

Ron groaned then huffed. "Fine. Let's talk about something else."

"I think Harry might like Hermione." said Dean suddenly.

Uh, what?

"What makes you say that?" All three boys asked at the same time. They all were thinking differently though.

'Wait I know I have some mixed feelings for Mione but it hurts if Harry didn't tell me he does. Well to be fair I haven't told him....' thought Ron frowning at the last part.

'Oh please. Harry? Like Hermione? Yeah right. They're like brothers and sisters. That'd be weird.' thought Neville, shuddered at the thought of them being together.

'Hmm. I guess I've never thought about them two being together. They've always been very close. Why is Nev shaking? What's up with Ron?' thought Seamus looking confused.

"Well they've been hanging out more often. Bet you they're snogging right now as we're speaking." Dean and Seamus snorted. Ron and Neville looked horrified.

"Oh look the sun set. It's time for dinner as well. We should go." Neville said quickly, wanting to get off topic.

"Oh your right, Nev." said Dean getting up as if nothing has happened. They walked up to the castle in awkward silence. Dean and Seamus wanted to go to the library to get some study books they left behind, leaving Ron and Neville alone.

"Nev?" Ron ask as they were drawing near to the great hall.

"Hmm? Yeah Ron?" Neville asked back looking up from a herbology book he'd brought along.

"Do you think Harry really likes Hermione?" Ron asked nervously.

'Please say no. Please say no' was what he was chanting on the inside.

Neville could definitely sense him being nervous so he tried to act normal. "No of course not. I can't really see 'Harmonie' happening." He said naturally, looking at his book again.

"Oh thank go-wait. What the bloody hell is 'Harmonie'?!" Ron said incredulously.

Neville sighed and shut his book. "It's Harry's and Hermione's couple name if they were to be together. There are all different couple's name. Some disturbing ones might I add." He said shivering.

Ron started looking in to it. "What would-" He then saw and heard something that made him want to weep out. Luckily he didn't.

"You know I love you, Harry."

"I love you too, Mione"

Ron did what any sensible person would do when they saw their two best friends hugging and expressing their feeling to each other. Ran like hell up to his room.

"Ron!" cried Neville, chasing him. This went unnoticed by the 'couple' as Ron would say.

'No. Ron! I'm sure they didn't mean it in that way. I should talk to Harry.' Thought Neville, still chasing Ron as a cat would chase a mouse. Finally he caught up.

CRASH

"Oops sorry. I honestly didn't think I would catch up to you..." muttered Neville as he got up.

"Ugh. It's fine." Ron mumbled also standing up.

"You want to talk?" Questioned Neville hopefully. He wanted to let Ron know he's there to help him.

"I'm not sure..." replied Ron quietly." Let's head up to the common room." The two were in the common room in 10 minutes. Ron wants to open up to someone so he thought, 'Well it's not like Nev would judge me. Surely he wants me too tell him.'

So he skipped dinner and told Neville everything. Ron explained some things he'd never told anyone and laugh. 'I remember Hermione had hugged Harry but shook hands with me after she was unpetrefied. It was so awkward.' was one of the things.

Never did Neville interrupt.

Finally Ron finished by saying," So yeah. Guess I like Mione. What should I do?" Ron was still hurting from seeing them but tried to keep Hermione and Harry out of his mind. He sat on the armchair near the fire while Neville laid on the floor as he was listening to Ron talk. Dean and Seamus had come in a while earlier but they went to bed straight away.

"Well I think you should tell her how you feel obviously." Responded Neville.

"What if she doesn't feel the same way? I'll make a complete fool of myself!"

"You never know until you try." He said. "I'm going to bed. Coming?"

"Yeah," Ron grumbled before following Neville up the stairs grudgingly, unsatisfied with the answer. It wasn't till they sat on their beds when Ron realised how tired he was. Harry nor Hermione still hadn't come back yet.

'Probably hanging out together, without me.' Thought Ron who was angered and sad at the moment. Soon he drifted to sleep. 'Where on earth is Harry?'

Authors Note: I had completely forgotten about Ron and Neville. Actually I only forgot about Ron. Ironic huh? Well I remembered when I had already started the next chapter so I kinda went through this quickly because I really want to start the one after the next one. Anyway, please comment! Point out mistakes. Tell me what you think about Nev knowing or being suspicious with Harry. This chapter was mostly conversation. Next one up in a few days!
