You Will Always Be My Hero

Oneshot

Ever since that day, the day the two boys formed a rivalry between one another, there was always an underlining of love that neither could express due to their clouded emotions. Neither truly knew how the other felt. One hid his feelings with anger, anger over the fact of the others kindness that he took for pity, while the other boy
saw the anger as nothing but hatred, never knowing that truly they both shared love that neither could express clearly.

Class had ended, the last day of junior high was over. Izuku was writing down some last minute information in his hero journal before leaving his classroom. Suddenly a hand slammed down onto Izuku's journal. Izuku yelped and looked up to see Katsuki hovering over him."We need to talk Deku!" Izuku gulped."What is it, Kacchan?" Katsuki leaned in and glared at Izuku."Listen up Deku, you better not go take the exam for U.A. High or I'll pummel you, got it!" Izuku looked closer into katsuki's red orbs and noticed a hint of worry in them."...No I'm going to take it. I've been waiting my whole life for this." Katsuki growled and grabbed Izuku by the collar of his shirt."Damn you and your fuckin puppy eyes..." Katsuki leaned in closer."If you go..you'll get yourself killed..because your quirkless.." Izuku blushed realizing that Katsuki was concerned and that made him happy. Katsuki leaned in and kissed Izuku on his soft pink lips. Izuku closed his eyes and so did Katsuki. Katsuki was a little sloppy at kissing but loving, while Izuku wasn't sure how to kiss back but he was happy to know katsuki's feelings because he felt the same. Katsuki pulled away and left only a few inches in between them."..stupid Deku..I'm worried about you.." Deku smiled at him."I'll be okay, Kacchan. I promise." Katsuki placed his forehead against Izuku's."I'll protect you..cuz I care.."

Even after junior high they acted the same, or rather Katsuki never gave his feelings, nor Izuku's a chance.
As time in the Hero course went on, the students of class 1-A realized that Izuku had been missing for over a week, Katsuki was the most worried of them all, no one knew it, thinking that katsuki was glad he was gone.
He sat at his desk, in deep thought until he heard a loud smack on his desk, looking up to see Urararka.
She was glaring down at him, lips trembling."You!..You must be so happy! Now that he's gone! Right?!..." katsuki looked at her, to everyone else he seemed laid back but what uraraka saw was a flare in his crimson eyes.
He stood up, bangs covering his eyes.

"You don't know anything."

He walked out of class after that, leaving Urararka stunned and the rest of the class confused.
Katsuki was outside, his body trembling, with anger, frustration and worry.
"Dammit Deku..." his quirk bloomed in the palms of his hands, emitting countless small fireworks as he struggled to stay in control and not destroy his surroundings.
In the end he was lost, afraid, scared that Deku was...no..no he didn't want to think like that.
"GOD DAMMIT!!"
He yelled with all his heart.
"I said...I'd protect you..I'm.." He looked down at the ground." I'm a fuckin fuck up!.." His lips began to tremble as he buried his face into the palm of his hand.

"Hello, Kachan."

Katsuki froze in place and looked up to see none other than Izuku, only to see that Izuku didn't appear like the Deku Katsuki knew. He was dressed in a suit, wearing leather gloves, he wasn't even wearing his bright red shoes, they were black and under his eyelids were dark bags, he looked sleep deprived, he wore a sly smile, it wasn't that confident bright smile that Katsuki knew.

Katsuki growled."What the hell Deku?! What's going on?! I demand fuckin answers!"
Izuku only smiled."I've been enlightened."
Katsuki looked at him, brows furrowed.
Izuku tilted his head to the side."This world of ours, from the age of four I knew that not all men are created equal, and so I decided that I would rise higher, I won't be weak ever again."

Katsuki growled."Argh you idiot! What the fuck nonsense are you spitting out! Do you hear yourself?! What the hell happened to the Deku I know! The annoying lil shit that would use my moves and surprise me! You told me you were gonna be a hero!"
Katsuki tightened his fists, walking towards Izuku and grabbing him by the collar."Look at what you are now! Do you wanna let down all the people who got you to where you are!!! This isn't you! Your not a villain dammit! Your that damn nerd who takes stupid notes on heros and fights till your fucking near death! Where's that damn blinding smile of yours!! Where's Deku!!?"

Izuku only looked at him."...Who knew that you ever cared.." he caresses katsuki's cheek."Your words are in vain, Kachan."

Katsuki growled and slammed Izuku down on the dirt, keeping him pinned down on his back."I refuse to believe you've become a villain! Did those League of Villains bastards do something to you?!"

Izuku only looked at him, with that sly, empty smile.

Katsuki shook with anger, towards the people who hurt his Deku.
"Remember..you told me that you weren't gonna be my punching bag..that Deku was the name of a hero..remember that?..." he tightened his grip on Izuku's shoulders." Remember when I kissed you?! Does that fucking mean anything to you?!"

In that moment, Katsuki saw Izuku's green eyes waver, in that moment he saw the Izuku he became friends with in his childhood.
In that instant Katsuki slammed his lips down on izukus and held Izuku close, not giving him a chance to fight back.

It lasted for so long, neither knew how long. Until Katsuki unlocked his lips, he saw the Deku who was shy and easily flustered.
"Kachan.." his voice sounded timid as ever.
Katsuki knew it was Izuku."What happened?.."

Izuku was hesitant but he answered, telling him of how he was brainwashed into becoming a villain.

Katsuki was clearly angry, enraged in fact."Those fuckers, I'll kill em, I'll make them regret the day they ever laid eyes on you." His tone of voice was guttural and filled with deep emotions.

Izuku held onto Katsuki."Kachan..I'm okay now.."
Katsuki made a "tch." Sound and picked Izuku up."I'm taking you to recovery girl." He said as he turned around and began to walk, Izuku didn't complain or struggle, letting katsuki carry him.

No one was left at the school except for the teachers. All of class 1-A was in there dorms. Izuku was asked questions of what had happened, it turned out he was being manipulated, thinking he was evil, altering his motives and personality, it was all thanks to Katsuki for snapping him out of it.

After some time, Katsuki was left alone with Izuku.
"Kachan..I'm so-!" Izuku flinched when Katsuki flicked his forehead.
"Don't you say that..if anything it was my fault."
That was rare, normally Katsuki wouldn't apologize. Katsuki sighs and rubs the back of his neck.
"I swear I'll keep my promise..I'm gonna protect you even if you have a quirk." He says as he looks at Izuku.

Izuku couldn't help but smile, he sits up straight and leans in to kiss Katsuki."I know you will." He says as he closes his eyes, muttering sweet words against his lips.
Katsuki wasn't the type to be sweet but when it came to Izuku, he'd do anything, holding him close he pressed his lips deeply into izukus, relishing in the feeling and delving into the warmth of the one he loved.
