"Baby you ready?" Jaylen asked walking into the room
"Almost baby"
"How is it that I got myself and Kairi ready and yo ass still not ready"
"I gotta look presentable"
"Baby as long as you don't show up half naked then you good"
Today I was meeting his parents and I was nervous. I mean I know it shouldn't matter what they think but I really like Jaylen and I don't want to put him an awkward situation trying to make both me and his parents happy. I also don't want my baby girl in a situation where she has to feel unwelcomed.
"Okay I'm ready" I said sliding my left heel on
"Has Dave called today?" He asked strapping Kairi in her car seat
"He called in the morning to tell me he landed safely in LA but she was sleep so he's going to call later"

I'm glad they get along. I mean Dave can be an ass at times but Jaylen never feeds into his shit.
He doesn't want to put me or Kairi in a position where we have to choose one of them because ultimately Dave will be the winner simply because I'm not about to take his daughter away because of an other man.
We've been dating for 4 months now and I can honestly say he's amazing. He knows his limits with her and He treats me like a queen.
I wish Dave was like this but unfortunately he decided he wanted to have hoes. Especially now that he got signed to Mass appeal
He's been working like crazy so he barely sees Kairi but makes sure he Facetimes her everyday.
"Let's go" He grabbed my hand and the car seat walking us out.
He strapped up Kai while I got in the passenger seat of his Escalade. He soon got in and we were off
"Don't be nervous ight" He said grabbing my hand
"I'm not I'm cool with whatever happens. I just don't want to put you in a tough situation"
"Regardless of what happens I'm going to be with you ight?"
I didn't say none
"Ight?"
"Okay" I smiled
we soon pulled up so a nice size house. He parked his car turning it off getting out and coming to my side to open my door before he got her car seat
"I can carry her babe" I said attempting to take the car seat away but he didn't let me
"Na I got it now give me your hand" He took my hand and started walking
